Stock, Aitken & Waterman

I have always been a huge fan of Sybil's output with PWL and S(A)W - so decided to remix the should have been single Didn't See The Signs. Giving nods to both 90s dance and her mid 80s beginnings with Let Yourself Go - I hope you enjoy what I have created here for the dance floor!

Mike Stock's Twitter is still fascinating in a hideous way. Loads of right wing bullshit and the odd retweeting of homophobia interspersed with posts about music that found a big gay audience.

The Sequal ladies were amazing! So entertaining.

But what’s this I heard Mr Howells say about SAW’s target group having been ”3 to 11 year olds”. Excuse ME? 3 to bloody 11 year olds?! I think I’d better burn my SAW collection then, obviously I’m slightly above that age group. And was even back in the day!

He was talking about their pure pop era in 1989, but even so I would extend it up to 15. And yes, people much older than that were also fans but they were clearly not bothering to cater to them at that stage with the likes of Sonia, Big Fun and Reynolds on top of Kylie and Jason. 1990 on the other hand...

Loved the Sequal episode, it was one of my favourites so far as it was a story we didn't know. Tell Him I Called has always been a huge favourite of mine since I first heard it on The Hit Factory 2 compilation but I had no idea there was so much more to their story with them having connections to Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion and Eternal. Now I need to track down that 3rd Party album...

They provided Celine with the sole bop on the dreary Let's Talk About Love I think!
