Strictly Come Dancing 2024

I’m seeing news that another pro, a female one this time, is now under investigation? And that Nadyia has made a complaint to the bosses too (and split from Kai which might make things frosty)
This is a mess.

She posted on social media that she hasn't and the female pro the apparent complaint is against is one who is no longer on the show.

Tabloid's like the scum and the fail are desperately trying to drag anything they can up and are resorting to sensationalist headlines now, I guess they want to damage one of the BBC's biggest shows? It's desperate now they have nothing new they and just dragging in anything they can.
Luckily people seem to be clued on to what they are doing now.

Just because she might not be on the show doesn’t mean it’s not worth investigating though.
The fact that in such a short space of time so many complaints have come out shows there has been a serious lack of care for the contestants.
Graziano literally assaulted Zara. There’s no excuse for that, he was in a position of power and she out her trust in him.
What if that had been Kai doing it to Angela Rippen. Or any of the pros who worked with a dancer with a disability?
It is the BBC and the professionals who are damaging the show.
Plenty of former contestants have come and said how brutal and hard the experience was, beyond just the hardships of learning to dance.

I didn't say it wasn't worth investigating, the show itself can't take immediate action like suspending or sacking a current pro, because the pro is no longer on the show.
All these "What ifs" are the type of OTT headlines I am talking about, even the Nadiya thing, she had to come out and say she never made a complaint like the tabloids said, again showing they are in the "making up any shit to throw at the show" stage. Let's just deal in fact and what is known.
The majority of the well over 100 contestants who took part have not come forward about anything, and seem to have had a good-great experience. The show has taken precautions and action now to avoid this situation in the future. I'm going to give it the grace of seeing how it goes.

This is all so fascinating to witness - it's like it's having its own #MeToo moment. Makes me wonder if some collective of insiders thought the show, or egos of those involved, was getting too big for its sequin boots or too costly to run so they decided to torpedo it.

Even one contestant coming forward to say they were bullied or assaulted is too many. And just because several never came forward doesn’t mean it never happened. Zara never actually came forward about her experience, it was the show itself who brought it up and to the forefront.
It’s pretty gross to be seeing the likes of Kim marsh saying “well Graziano was lovely with me!” As if Zara’s experience is suddenly invalid because someone else had a lovely time with him. There’s footage of him assaulting her and he admitted it.
It’s all well and good saying “Well now we will make sure it never happens again” but it never should have happened in the first place, and this isn’t an isolated incident.

It definitely feels like the media have decided now is the time to take the show down. It will be off air within the next couple of years.

How are they even going to sign any celebs up at the moment with all this kicking off? It's going to be filled with Z-listers.

The Sun published 17 articles about this story yesterday alone. This isn't slowing down at all, absolute mess.

Also worth noting that despite going through security footage with a fine tooth comb they've yet to nail anything concrete to Giovanni. Yet Amanda Abbington is doing some kind of victory lap...with very questionable legal representative pushing this story to the gutter press multiple times a day.

I dare say there are a number of former contestants who had situations like this happen to them but have not spoken up before. As shown in Zara's statement, there is a real fear that nobody will believe them (And indeed she is still getting abuse online despite there being evidence and an admission of guilt) so seeing others speak out might inspire them to come forward too.
There is a clear issue behind the scenes on this show and has been for a while. Combined with the fact that the actual show has been getting progressively worse over the last many years and the blatant rigging of the progression of some (Angela Rippen last year)...maybe it is time to call it a day.

Rehearsals have already started.

People thinking this is the show the needs to take time off while shows like BGT, Love island, IAC and Big brother continue on air...

Yeah, my bet is the BBC are gonna continue as if nothing's happened. They open themselves up to contractual hell if they cancel when all the celebrities and professionals have signed on the dotted line.
