It's an unpopular opinion to anyone I've brought it up to, but I've hated Greg from the very beginning. I understand his role in the show, but it still doesn't make him any less annoying. And we're definitely at a point now where his scenes are just completely useless.

Also, Shiv was drinking when she was with Matsson... are we supposed to read into that or... ?

It also didnt make sense for him to be in Sweden this ep as he wasn't on 'the list' so it felt like he was just there as he's a character on the show. He definitely feels redundant this series

I always thought Greg was intended to be our moral pivot when he pocketed the evidence about the cruiseline stuff way back near the beginning, that he'd blow the whole thing wide open - but now he's just kinda ...there.

Hm this is unexpected. I guess HBO wouldn't try this if they didn't think Culkin could win...

I actually think Culkin has been the best of the bunch all season. Strong and Snook have both been incredible too, but Roman’s arc feeling believable and complexity of what he’s doing on screen has been *chef’s kiss*.

The way he talks about his experience during the post-show behind-the-scenes bits really drive that home, too. You can really see how devoted he is to the role and it’s always refreshing to hear him talk about it so earnestly.

Those interview segments always make me laugh, because it’s clear acting with someone has had a big effect on him over the years.

Unreal acting from them both. Almost unsettling seeing Roman be so stern and actually wield his a power in a menacing way. The power dynamic in their relationship has always swayed more towards Gerri, and now it’s just totally switched. Gerri for sure deserves that Best Supporting Actress nom.
