Alan Ruck's casting was always interesting - he's only 10 years younger than Brian Cox - and seemed to have been mostly phased out the past season (maybe scheduling) and largely ignored by the story arc.

I do think they could have done a bit more with why Connor is so passed over when the other Roy children fuck up regularly enough, perhaps some of that Roman daddy issues stuff could have been explored with Connor instead. A bit more about what happened to his mother? There was definitely some dead air in the episodes between Logan's death and the funeral episode, they could have scrapped some of the manoeuvring and filled an episode with Connor's back story really.

I’m actually glad they didn’t drag Connor into the family drama. The show was already often stressful to watch, and the sibling drama as exhausting as it was addicting, that having Connor serve almost exclusively as comedic relief was a great call. Especially given that the other comedic character (Greg) became the most annoying this last season ddd.

Now, an episode centred solely around Queen Willa’s decor choices?? That we had time for.

We saw Connor in the finale sitting directly next to Logan in the home video laughing with Kerry, Geri, Karl etc. I think Connor was not quite as passed over as we thought throughout the shows run, he obviously had some amount of in with Logan - he just didn’t clue his siblings in.
Oh yeah, he is the ELDEST BOY. This is a long shot but I think Connor wasn't as obsessed with business as the rest cause he might got some actual love in his childhood from Logan or just guilt from what happened to Connor's mother made Logan treat him in more compassionate way.

Watching this and storming through it last few days - currently on Season 2.

Shiv is iconic.

Tom is, in my mind, very clearly marrying Shiv as a gateway to power, prominence and acess. Hence him being ok with her adultery and open marriage etc.

Kendall is a mess.

Surprised Roman is and has remained straight.

Tom's black eye...
Kendall shitting the bed...
So many layers to this show.

Why did Marcia act out against Logan at the dinner with the Pierces? Is it because the wine or...?

EDIT: WHY IS KENDALL RAPPING

EDIT2: The callous way Kendall sent Jennifer away, wow. And Shiv setting Rhea up as CEO?
