Tbh the crowd going to Drumsheds will the more like Shygirl’s normal audience.Wild they're at that line-up. They really work on reaching different audiences.
Shygirl again. She didn't go down to well at O2 I think. I enjoyed it, but people around me were underwhelmed.
Same for my row.Esentially only me singing Shygirl’s songs in our row was an experience that happened.
Can't believe I'm going to Madrid on purpose for the Babes. Shouting through the time-space continuum to tell my 3-year-old self replaying the CD-R mixtape my dad and brother made with Hole on the Head as the first track

Such a sweet post. Happy you enjoyed the Madrid gig so much! xAmazing, of course. It was idiocy to go for the front row, being so close to the sound system absolutely distorted their voices - but they were incredible, Mutya kept waving hello and even blew my friend a kiss. They were celebrated as true headliners (MIKA was also great the previous night and dragged the pseudo-VIP section for not participating; iconic).
Push the Button and Freak Like Me were a baptism in two acts. When the Rain Comes sounded like a hit, as did Flatline and Today. Thrilled that we got Flowers, it's now a Suga classic (and they should've made it a bonus track on The Lost Tapes). I think Ugly is really superfluous, but that's really all the negatives. Otherwise, I wish I'd linked up with some Popjustice hunties, at least I wouldn't be the only gay singing MNEK's parts on Run for Cover, ddd.
This was still a great holdover until I get to see them in a proper Sugababes gig, as the O2 date really didn't work out for me. What a joy to see them commanding such a mammoth stage, balancing an extra-smooth set with moments of pure affection - a hug here and there, Mutya getting all types of vida to Keisha's ad-libs - just to highlight their unity and friendship. The industry might ruin a lot of people, celebrities may all be secretly evil, but I can't help but be happy for these queens. Queenjustice.
They’ve got the Dubai gig and Drumsheds announced this week for December. So which tracks do you think they’ll ditch for their next round of touring (presumably it’ll be tied to the new album)? I’m thinking they’ll probably drop most of this current set list.
Push the Button, Overload, Round Round, Freak Like Me and About You Now are the only things I can see 100% staying. Particularly if they want to cover as many of their new tracks and/or get some more of the Lost Tapes tracks in there.
I’m hoping they just rotate the other legacy singles a bit, I’d like a full In The Middle performance, Denial would be a dream and perhaps we’ll see a One Touch single?
Have they wrapped up their shows for this year?
I think the staples would be the five you mentioned plus Flatline, Stronger, Hole In The Head and Too Lost In You. They'll still need to cater to a more casual audience as well as adding in newer things. So which tracks do you think they’ll ditch for their next round of touring (presumably it’ll be tied to the new album)? Anything for 2024? Are we assuming they’ll spend the rest of the year in the studio? They’ve got the Dubai gig and Drumsheds announced this week for December.
Too Lost In You is a great point actually, that went down so well at both of the shows I went to. I’d also love for Flatline to stay (I think it’s one of their best), but from a casual audience perspective it seems like one of the tracks it makes the most sense to swap with a new one.I think the staples would be the five you mentioned plus Flatline, Stronger, Hole In The Head and Too Lost In You. I believe 2.0 did.Edit: Have they ever performed Blue?
I believe “Too Lost In You” isn’t going anywhere either! So which tracks do you think they’ll ditch for their next round of touring (presumably it’ll be tied to the new album)? I’m thinking they’ll probably drop most of this current set list.

Edit: For clarity, I’m referring to staples for shows going forward beyond 2024. I know that When The Rain Comes will probably be a staple at least for the next year.
They played a corporate gig last night. Get those coins ladies!
