It's a chat show which is on channel 5 every morning at 9.15. It's presented by Matthew Wright and various guest presenters. They discuss the daily news and hot topics. I love it! It's been on for years now.

My pleasure! Where else could I go/tell others who would instantly really, really care that Heidi was on TV answering live questions about the Sugababes?! POPJUSTICE FORUM! It was an instant reaction and no-brainer.

There were a lot of smiles when she was answering, but she must have known that she was going to be asked these questions, and just decided that she just had to answer them straight. She was diplomatic, but decisive. I will try and post the link when it appears online.

It has been said on here before: I don't think she gives a sh*t about the 'Sugababes' and is having a great time on DOI and all the positive press and flattering comments which are coming with it. I think 4.0 were like a chain round her neck.

It's a shame no one has questioned why the band would take a break right after signing a three album deal with Sony (Oh, that's because it wasn't true and they're currently unsigned to a major label). Still, I expect Jade is relieved to have a nice long rest after re-recording vocals for approx 13 songs. Phew! It's hard not to poke fun at them, they're actually ridicious. As if Jade Ewen, who walked away from 'her own thing' to join the brand would willingly 'take a break' to 'do her own thing' 2 years later. Have those two singles done anything for her profile? I think her time in the brand has done her more harm than good...

I agree, I think it's ruined her career before it got going. That said, she's bounced back from similar failures before so I think she still has another shot. I often forget that she's a good four years younger than Amelle and Heidi, she's got plenty time to crack the market.

It's raised her profile but I'm not sure it's been in a good way. She's known for replacing the last original member of the Sugababes and going down with that ship while it sank. It seems a bit tail-between-the-legs to return to being a solo artist after just filling in for two singles and not properly releasing their own material. Meh.

Pre-4.0, I actually bought Jade Ewen - My Man (based on the Cahill Radio Edit). Post-4.0, I will never buy another solo release from her. I think she's rubbish. So, that's a before and after for you. I'm sure others feel the same - she is the worst Sugababe ever.

She's probably publics least favourite but its natural-she had no album other than Sweet 7 (which was rerecorded and overshadowed with lineup change drama). But it doesnt mean people hate her or despise her. Id say more-she has no Sugababes stigma on her as much as the other five (some people really hates all sugababes).

You are in the minority with me., I can't see how it's done her career any harm. Yes they flopped, but had Jade flopped solo (which she was bound to after Eurovision) then she would be non-existent right now. It has boosted her profile majorly and she is more son in the tabloids and magazines now. It's also led to her modelling and TV presenting deals.

Yes exactly, its not like her position is worse than before she joined the band.

I'd argue her profile was higher before she elected to put her vocals on top of Keisha's vocals, or at the very least her profile could be put to better use than being in a tribute act. So it was via her stint as a Eurovision Song contestant, but now she's connected to a flop group who can't even release a song without sticking it on Amazon as a free 'gift' to fans. You might argue that doing private gigs singing songs you have nothing to do with is a good career move...but I doubt she had that in mind when she joined the group. It's a real shame in a sense because it looks like she's been discarded now her usefulness has come to an end. She knew the risks, I suppose. It just didn't pan out.

But Kirkland we all know that now she will be announced as a Sugababes or Ex-Sugababe. There will be questions about her being a part of the band but they wont be the dominant ones.

The name means nothing in context with her. She's part of a critically drubbed, commercially disastrous album. According to the rumours on here, Sony wouldn't even give her a solo deal, deciding instead to take a chance on Amelle instead. That is how useful the name is to Jade. Not even Heidi got a solo deal and she was in the proper Sugababes during their classic era. I doubt announcing her as a Sugababe or Ex-Sugababe will help in any useful way.
