Pharrell, though. Is he really that much of a force now? His track with Azealia was poor. I hope I'm wrong.

Just dropping by to say that I feel The Lost Tapes is probably one of the best albums by a girlband, alongside Spice and Tangled Up.
I'll bring up again a wishlist of producers like it's 2014;
Dev Hynes
MNEK
Jam City
Kaytranada
Four Tet
Geeneus
Oneohtrix Point Never
Sampha
LSDXOXO
Preditah
El Guincho
Nova Wav
Mura Masa
Sega Bodega
Keisha I know you're reading this, do your magic!
Their Spotify numbers are crazy/unfair! The drop from Sweet 7 to Catfights is quite staggering... #justiceforCAS

Ha! Literally 95% of Change is About You Now (150.1m) - their most streamed song:Catfights had only two singles, one of which flopped and the album campaign was super short, its not surprising its not as high as albums with multiple top ten singles.
On the other hand happy to see Change as the leader even if its mostly because of About You Now. Not surprised the original lineup decided to perform it considering how popular its stil is.
This is cute, but I think they are just common expressions.Has anyone else noticed moments on this album that reference their older stuff? And I don't just mean Back In The Day & Summer of 99 that explicitly talk about the old times.
- The line "boys will be boys for life" in Boys is likely a reference to the unreleased One Touch song Boys Will Be Boys.
- I Lay Down uses a very similar (if not the same) piano (?) sequence that's very prominently featured in the demo version of Look At Me.
- Enough didn't make it on the album, but Mutya has a line "easy, treat him mean, just to keep him keen" which is a nod to her song 2 The Limit which had the line "treat me mean, keep me keen".
Am I missing any?
I just want a volume 2 … and then a volume 2 (deluxe)If they ever release a physical edition of “The Lost tapes” I would love if they included a bonus disc with the “Summer of 99” demo.
It’s amazing how production can affect a song. I usually skip the version on “The Lost Tapes” but when I play the demo I can play it over 10 times in a row.
