Sugababes - The Lost Tapes (Deluxe)

But Keisha also considers Sweet 7 a Sugababes album (a terrible one that she’s embarrassed by but still recognizes it for what it is) so it’s a bit weird to use her exit as an excuse.

Imagine this when Mutya left and people claimed that Change was their first album.
At the time it was their (Sugababes 3.0) first album so I don't think this would have been a problem. If we see the band as a brand and every member (past and present) as interchangeable, then sure their next album, will be their 9th.
Sweet 7 isn't a MKS and The Lost Tapes isn't a HAJ record. So to me it just seems more respectful to distinguish.

It's not about respect, it's a fact that the Sugababes' next album is their 9th.

A few pages of new posts since I checked the thread earlier today, expecting news but it’s just Sugababes fans being Sugababes fans.

The thread title is unnecessarily petty and asking for unnecessary discussions to be brought up. Especially when there’s zero indication a new album is even in the works.

Whoever changed it brought it upon themselves for the now mess here.

This. Whoever changed that needs to get a grip. It’s just petty and dumb.

The opinion of a Sugababes fan changes by the millisecond. The thread title was changed, but no doubt there will be a 1.3 million mini-theses about why "3rd" was correct, and the push-and-pull will start again. Please wake up in the morning and like... let some of the strife go. It is truly not ever that serious.

2 whole pages on album numbering. Clearly Mutya wasn't collaborating on some of the most exciting songs to hold us over till the band's comeback. 3rd or 9th, a Sugababes album is a Sugababes album to me.
