Sugababes - The Lost Tapes (Deluxe)

During the past few days, I finally got around to listening to all of the MKS songs (I started with that last year and heard about 10 of them, most of which then made it to "The Lost Tapes" album) and it was so interesting to hear all the experiments and sound ventures they did at the time, showcased by such strong material. Even the roughest demos have something likeable or interesting about them.

Some of the songs I've heard before like "Too in Love", "Light Up" and "Arrow", alongside great new discoveries such as "Open Book" and "Up in Flames", definitely deserved to get an official release, and obviously there's a lot to like among the other songs.

Also wrapped it up by listening to their "Flowers" cover, which served as a full circle Sugababes moment.

Having such a moment with Beat is Gone.

I fell a bit out of love with it initially, I mentioned it before, felt Keisha’s “gone, gone, gone” on the Lost Tapes pretty jarring. However, it’s now my favourite on the album.

Mutya and Siobhan sharing my love for it on instagram too! Just love these woman so much.
