Sugababes - UK & Europe Tour 2025

Yeah - the girls always put on a good show. I expect it to be closer aligned to The O2 show than the 65min set they’ve been pedalling for the last few years. Have a few drinks and singalong. Great night out.

I’m hoping for a return of the Ugly fans on the big screen.

“We asked our fans to send in photos to be in the background for this next song. It’s Ugly.”

They'll most likely skip One Touch, Lush Life and One Foot In (And hopefully the Garage Medley). Dreading to know which tracks they'll slot into the setlist

I feel on their own shows, they do the balance pretty well. We've had Lush Life, One Touch, One Foot In, 2 Hearts, Today, Love Me Hard, Beat Is Gone and a remix of Run For Cover along with the standards - I'm sure they'll be looking into their catalogue for some surprises for us. Whoever foresaw them doing a Taller In More Ways album track that didn't even get performed the first time around?

Keep the generic setlist for festivals. For your own tour with your own dedicated fans, let's get a bit more creative ladies.

I know this is probably not representative of all dates, but I’m going to the Belfast show and I know about 20 other people going who have never seen them before for various reasons. Mainly that the Sugababes don’t do as many Irish dates as British dates, and that my friends don’t really like festival/outdoor shows which is what they’ve usually done in Ireland.

So I think for some of these venues outside of the major cities, there will be a lot more first-timers, causal fans who want the hits and won’t know The Lost Tapes or album tracks. And I think the set list will reflect that.

I wish they could spill some insight on a podcast or something about how it is to release music independently. They're probably paying all the studio time, producers, and logistics from their own pockets.

Would be amazing if someone knew what their deal with Sony was in 2020.

I thought it was down to that they are independent and things take more time?
I’m hoping there are loads of physical formats for the single and album, and that’s taking longer for an independent release, causing the delay.

Oh and while I’m being ridiculously optimistic, I also think they’re filming a video for the first single that is taking a long time to edit.

Them not having released anything yet doesn't mean they aren't confident in the material.

I don't think it's a confidence issue but I do think they're being overly perfectionist. I get it must be intimidating to put out their first 'proper' new body of music in decades but they need to stop worrying so much. Only the hardcore fans are really bothered and we'll lap up whatever they give us anyway.

I doubt they're being over-exacting. They released "When the Rain Comes" after all.

Siobhan claimed to NME that the album could come together "super quickly with the right producer." It wouldn't surprise me if they've tapped someone like Dev Hynes to executive produce the album and they may be waiting for a gap in his schedule to add his "additional production, remix" to the project, as Cameron McVey did back in the day. "Lay Down In Swimming Pools" is mixed better than parts of The Lost Tapes, so if it is Dev, hopefully he brings along Blue too.
