Visitors that are hyped up by a really good live show, are willing to buy merchandise or a new album after a show. They can shift quite a few copies at their live shows and then at the festivals in the summer.I'm guessing they want the new album fully cooked, ready to go, to give them the best shot at sales and maybe even an album charting position in the top 10/20.
Respectfully I don't think the fact that fans will lap up anything they put out is reason enough for them to release something they're not ready to. There are obviously reasons for the delay in releasing any new music, whether they want to share them with us or not.I don't think it's a confidence issue but I do think they're being overly perfectionist. I get it must be intimidating to put out their first 'proper' new body of music in decades but they need to stop worrying so much. Only the hardcore fans are really bothered and we'll lap up whatever they give us anyway.
Want to go because of Mariah. How is Pride there usually? Like when does the headliner play, is the some golden circle/VIP? Anyone knows?Mariah and Sugababes…. Epic!View attachment 63510

Y'all need to just let it go.
Queens of anything but new music x
So no golden circle or so? It’s just about considering how close I can get to the stage. I want to be in the actual presence of Mariah. There is a VIP area, but I’ve never used it. The stage and screens are big enough to see everything. The park tends to open early afternoon on the Saturday. IIRC Girls Aloud last year went on around 8:30pm for a 10pm finish. Park opens a bit later on the Sunday and the headliner is on a bit earlier too
