Yeah definitely leans towards it being inspired by her time working an office job when she’s not been a Sugababe. Particularly with her being the one in a box and on a treadmill in the video, and the imagery of being a Sugababe being permanent like a tattoo.Interesting that Keisha indicates that Siobhan wrote the song and that Keisha and Mutya added some of the finishing touches. Siobhan really is a fantastic pop writer.
So far, they’ve done three radio interviews and performed a short snippet of ‘Jungle’ at Comic Relief. While that’s a start, I really hope there’s more promotion lined up before the tour starts in two weeks.I hope they have a full plan ready to go for this. Another low key release like When The Rain Comes would hurt them a bit, they can only have that many "comeback singles" and flops. I request the full promo package.
She was a model booker from around the end of the Ghosts era in 2007ish to early MKS in 2012 - she spoke about handing in her notice when they decided to get back together the first time; then sometime after, around the time she had Floyd, she started working in Interior Design, designing a chain of nurseries with one of her friends. She was doing stuff with them during COVID but I'm not sure she does anymore plus she probably doesn't need the money after all this touring $$ they must have got since 2022.Are we talking about Siobhan's time as a model booker in the pre-MKS days? Or has she been working a 9-5 more recently? Surely she can't be playing Glastonbury then going back to 'nice weekend?' chat in an office.
I also love that on a Podcast a few years back Mutya casually revealed she takes training courses to keep her mind busy and was working on getting her Tattooing one and seemed genuinely thrilled at the concept of getting to go into a Tattoo shop to do it. Queens of extra curricular activities! We stan an entrepreneurial jack of all trades.
