I've just listened to the leaks again. God they're good. Who produced Light Up?
James New and Josef Page did... Do we know who produced Up in Flames?
The list excludes greatest-hits albums and live albums.
Otherwise, according to the link, The Sound of Girls Aloud would be #1.
The fact that this sold twice as much as Overloaded still irks me.
The Sound of Girls Aloud sold more than Spice???
Yes but the Sugababes sold way more studio albums up to that point.
According to the link, yes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is true.
But we know?
I read that as to say they’d be number 1 of a greatest hits list. Not Overall. No way is it anywhere near Spice surly?
Spice has sold almost 3 million in the UK. The Sound of Girls Aloud is at around 1.2 million.
I don't think it's so bad given that Sugababes sold so many more albums.
Can't have helped that Overloaded was led by a very questionable single choice as opposed to Sound of Girls Aloud which was led by one of their defining hits.
I am redacting my post - i don’t think it’s them.
Easy is a 10.
I like Easy - the song itself - but their choice to lead a Greatest Hits (sorry, The Singles Collection) with it remains truly bizzare to me.
It's not a 10 for me though I do like it - but personal rankings aside I don't know how anyone could think it was a good single choice.
Is it for the *ahem* sexual tone of the song? Cause melody and production make it a banger.
I Lay Down just clicked with me for the first time.
Would have loved for them to use both I Lay Down & the Swimming Pools version as a sort of reprise.
It just doesn't scream hit to me? It sounds like a Taller In More Ways album track.
It was their first 'lead' since Push The Button, definitely had the chance to smash if they had chosen something more conventional.
Easy is a hot mess but it works really well and they sell it.
Easy was the track that signalled to me that the group I loved had died.
