Sugababes

I think 3rd/4th singles from Taller would've been Gotta Be You & Follow Me Home. I've always thought that the label went with Red Dress because they didn't want to give the impression that the new Sugababes (3.0) were trying to be "urban" rather than pop.

"Red Dress" was already the label's choice for a single when Mutya was still in the group. She said the meeting was a factor in her depature.

Watching the Sweet 7 documentary is just so amazing. Truly one of the most dramatic, explosive things to ever happen to a girlband.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - Jade was the true victim of the entire thing (apart from Keisha, obvs). She was totally led down the garden path and sold a series of false promises rather than the truth that the entire thing was a sinking ship. Sugababes should’ve ended once Keisha left, and they should’ve given the Sweet 7 album to Jade to launch her solo career.

I always thought Sweet 7 would’ve been a better solo album for Amelle than the Sugababes. Her image, style , and vocals suited the album.
