Sugababes

It could be, that's very normal for artists to feel a certain way about their music depending on the circumstances at the time. I think she was still signed to Island but I imagine that she had very little support to put the music out.

Hers is a funny case because with her experience I'm sure she would have been able to put some music out in 2013-2019, but it may be that her creative focus is on the group.
I agree with this. I also think that some people just prefer being in the group environment. Mutya has said herself that she only really made solo music because she felt she had to (Siobhan has said the same I think, but I might be misremembering that) and actually felt pretty lonely being a solo artist.

So I can imagine that even though Keisha made solo music, it was probably more out of a love of making music rather than intending to actually release anything.

Also, justice for Fearless! I loved that song.

I just heard Keisha’s Carried Away performance for the first time, I’d seen Beautiful Mess and Fearless before. It sounds like she had some great material there, I hope it gets some time to shine one day.

I imagine that, now that the band is back in full-force, that it wouldn’t be as daunting to release as it might have been in 2011. Particularly since it would be a retrospective release, not a big commercial thing.

And one of the things on my wishlist for whenever they do another special concert (which I’m sure they will considering how well it went), is a solo moment for each of them! I think Keisha mentioned that she recorded around 50 songs for the album, so I imagine that if she was picking something to perform it’d probably be from that huge pool of material?

For some reason (I'm guess because it was an international package with a declared value), the mailperson didn't leave my record at my apartment, but ended up second in line to pick it up this morning. Simple packaging but it loooks so good and I'm glad just to finally have it physically!

Lowkey ''Wear My Kiss'' is the only song from ''Sweet 7'' I go back to. ok maybe Get Sexy too, sometimes but it's still cringe.

The rest of the album can rot.

Wait at me only now realizing that (one my top Sugababes songs) ''Ace Reject'' is Xenomania. That explains a lot, from the unusual structure to me imagining Girls Aloud singing it.

Not you ignoring the one single that was leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of Sweet 7. About A Girl was actually a solid pop song without the cringe factor that the other two had.
I'm sorry I don't think it's sugar like apple pie.
