At this point, people should know she's going to delay it as a punishment if they ask her about release dates. The same way she threatened people that if they leak her music, she's never going to release them nn. I love her bossy behavior.
Iconic? Yes.
She'd have been better off just not saying anything and dropping it as a surprise because people get so attached to unconfirmed dates, but even if we're waiting a few more months, SOS is still doing well on its own, so it's not like she needs to rush something else out.

I know it's frustrating as fuck to see your work leaking, but her tweet is just gonna bring attention to the leaks honestly. I haven't seen that many people talking about it and now everyone and their mothers will be searching for it.
Why is she like this... Like I'm sure having your music leak must seriously suck, but feeling like you have to make a huge deal out of it and punish all your fans over it is just a bizarre way of thinking. I can't think of any other artist that makes such a fuss over piracy, the truth is it's just... something that can happen and you really have no control over, and it barely affects sales/streams in this day and age anyway.

Oh no, I am aware, but to be fair that was like ten years ago, I meant nowadays. I don't think any other current artists really make that big a deal out of leaks (and as was pointed out the artists bringing attention to it really only makes the situation worse).
