Kevin Parker said fuck straight lives Currents is skinny!!
This is ace!
I'm in love with this album. Kevin has always been known for his stellar productions but I actually feel like the songwriting, lyricism and themes are equally strong on that record. The drum programming is out of this world and I'm digging the hip-hop influences on some of the tracks (Breathe Deeper ...), notably Timbaland's style with double beats and stuff.
All in all, it will probably one of my favourite records this year.
This is really strong. Currents was their opus but this album feels like all the best/most pop/most commercial parts of that record stuck in a blender.
Glorious, I’ll need more time to find which tracks I love the most but I had a blast listening on my commute this morning.
Breathe Deeper! My gosh, a damn BOP.
This is good but it's so broad. I feel like it's one I really need to listen to a lot before I can truly make out how much I like it.
IS IT TRUE
Wow. At least as the planet burns we’re getting some good music.
This feels a bit like the Honey to Currents' Body Talk. I'm stanning.
This comparison is spot on! Ugh what an album.
Literally came in here to post this. The whole album is stellar but Breathe Deeper is a fucking trip.
This is wondrous. Agree February is not the right time of year for it, though. Everything about it screams hazy signs of summer.
Kevin said fuck the Northern Hemisphere.
My Valentine’s Day plans consist of a blunt, a bottle of wine, and diving into this.
What else do you need? You clearly love yourself.
One More Year. PHEW, what an opener.
Genuinely loving this comparison.
Agreed. May or June would have been perfect for this, but whatevs. It's my dose of Vitamin D for the winter & spring.
Y'all weren't lying, this goes off.
Oh trust me, I do but clearly no one else does dd.
Well it's great background music. I don't see myself returning to it as often as Currents.
And why was Patience cut again? It's not like it's a dramatically different sound from the rest of the album.
Separate names with a comma.
