I think she said the album was always called So Close To What. There’s even a hint about it in the “It’s ok I’m okay” video

In this reality we would have had The Like A Prayer Tour (or The Immaculate Collection Tour, rather) and The Lemonade Tour (ddd), to name a few obvious examples that really got better names.

They don’t, but it’s unheard of to name the tour from an album track it’s promoting so I just wondered why tbh.

The way the audience are chanting the chorus back to her gave me chills. It’s giving song of the year, it’s giving one of the defining songs of the decade, it’s giving main pop girl!!

I feel like Sports car can actually end up becoming her biggest hit. Although greedy was an undeniable smash, I have the impression that Sports car is a song that everybody - not just the TikTok girls and gays - knows.

It's interesting that she does different choreography for Revolving Door and Sports Car than she did in the televised performances/videos. Not just simplified or altered - like completely different in some instances. I know she's done different choreo for Exes and Greedy, but it at least contained elements of the base choreo.

I think the concert version of Sports Car has the better choreo than the SNL dance break, but her concert versions of Revolving Door...let's stick to the video choreo.

For a song released 2 months ago, it's still incredibly stable on streaming and rising on US radio too, so fingers crossed this becomes the smash it deserves to be.

I watched some of her Lollapalooza set and… she really does need to embrace the head mic. I know she said she doesn’t like it but she’s barely singing sometimes. And when she does sing it’s still a lot of ad libs rather than singing complete lines. Sing the slower songs live and lip the choreography heavy ones.

I love how the final chorus explodes. I think it may be might favorite track on the album.
