Exactly this. I remember a year ago at this time there was that whole Damon Albarn controversy where she called him out for claiming she doesn't write her own songs and we were all like MEAN TV IS COMINGGG. When that didn't happen, I completely gave up on theorizing when we were getting any TV. Then May's drop of This Love TV came, 1989 and SN merch, but nothing.
She was so quiet, then dropping Midnights out of nowhere, but Bejeweled had sooooo many easter eggs it sparked the chatter again (which was in October at this point), I truly gave up on any theory for her roll out plans. It's exhausting.

Yeah, I've given up on all Easter Eggs and conspiracy theories, especially about dates. Like, there's no doubt in my mind that Speak Now is definitely the next re-recording, but I have no time and energy to keep up with all the crazy theories the TikTok Swifties come up with about the *when*.
My current theory is that she will release one more video for Midnights, and in that one she will announce the date of when Speak Now will be released

The video she shot in Liverpool is obviously for Karma, but it’s going to be about her “taking back” Speak Now for herself, which ties in with what we’ve seen/read about the video. Maybe the cover will be on the painting she’s seen running with in the gold dress?

I am surprised that she hasn’t gone for Speak Now and 1989 release because there’s no way we are getting two TVs this year and I’d have thought she’d want to get 1989 asap for the coins.
I’m still a bit baffled by how drawn out she’s made the TVs. Two a year made sense. It’ll be half a decade - if not longer - by the time she’s done at this pace. 1989 definitely should’ve come last summer, and we probably should’ve had Speak Now to coincide with the tour. Just a bit strange.
It's likely she has an exact order for how she wants these rolled out and the copyright issues halted things. Possibly Midnights happened because she found out there was going to be a delay?
I think this was the plan until Red. With all due, both evermore and Fearless TV were modest successes by her standards and I think she recognised that and was probably anticipating all of the re-recordings to perform similarly and slipping into the routine until Red and All Too Well hit it all out of the park.
I think she then decided to give them more space, then the roadblocks happened for 1989 and Speak Now. She wasn't allowed to work on rep until November 2022 and I've long believed debut will be last so she can 'own her own name.' That's when the idea for a new studio album (that became Midnights) was born and that's why we got that when we did. And then that also exceeded expectations, which has allowed her to coast until the issues with Speak Now are resolved.
It has probably all worked out for the best, because without Midnights she would've been forced to follow Red with debut in mid-2022 or wait until around now with nothing else to release rep. Neither of which would've been great scenarios.

She’ll want to be releasing new music still too so I can imagine there being a new album in late 2024.
While I’m really eager to get the rest of the Taylor Versions, I’m also pleased she’s making time for new music, she can re-record her back catalogue while updating with new albums, but, I’m hoping we get the next TV very soon.
She did say that the re-recordings is something she's doing first and foremost for herself and was surprised by the support. Then I guess Red TV happened and she / they were overwhelmed so they want to push the remaining re-recordings the best way possible. That means carefully picking singles and promo singles from those albums.
Regarding the Easter eggs, I think that at this point she's just having them because everyone is expecting it. ''I will press an elevator button in the Bejeweled video, and they will think it means something, so I may as well make it mean something''. And also, teasing her next move never hurt anyone.

Can someone enlighten me how a copyright on a calendar means anything? If they use photos from that time is doesn't have to connect to music in any way. Not saying it isn't coming but I just do not see the connection here.
It’s because the calendar says “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” which means it’s copyrighted to her as the owner.
The last calendar also featured Red heavily so it’s symbolic too.
There’s absolutely no question. We know 100% Speak Now is coming next and likely soon.
