I wouldn't put "Enchanted" or "Love Story" or definitely "State Of Grace" (which is literally one of the most incredibly-written pop songs of recent years and exactly what she should be doing) in the 'mopey and writerly' category at all. And I've come around to "All Too Well" - for all its lyrical eye-rollers there's something about it that leaves quite the impression; that song is basically the maturing of what she used to do which sucked. I wasn't trying to slight her, if Red was the thirteen-track album it should've been then that side of her musical persona wouldn't have existed since 2010. She's best when she's happy.

Taylor has managed to have 2 albums both sell over 1 million copies during the first week. I definitely think she's big enough to be considered a "big pop girl".

I'm hoping she continues what she was doing with Red. Some country infused pop music & Max Martin songs would be great. Although she could probably release a rap song and I'd still be here for it.

It has less to do with album sales and more to do with pop radio appeal of her singles, relevance to young entertainment media, and sex appeal.

I hope she pulls a Roman Reloaded and front loads the first half with the commercial stuff; I hate having to skim through Red, having forgotten which tracks contain the pop gold.

Speak Now is still The Perfect Album.

Red could have definitely done without Stay Stay Stay or 22. Otherwise, I think every song, even the weaker ones, earn their place. It feels like a proper superstar album. I'm imagining Album 5 will ratchet that up a few notches for better or worse.

I love the idea of people just coming around to the idea that Taylor Swift is a major player in pop. She's been outselling everyone else in the game since 2006.

This has a very low chance of being bad. I remember hearing 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and became instantly obsessed.

Her image has become so hyper-stylized over the course of her last 'break'; it makes me wonder where the sound of the next album will position her.

Red's peaks were incredible, I look forward to something on par with State Of Grace or the title track.

I'm not disputing what you're saying (especially since it seems very likely that's what she'll do, since she did the same with Red) but that article doesn't say anything other than the Malaysian time for the event, unless content has been removed or blocked for the UK?

I am so incredibly here and excited. Behind Kate Bush in a few weeks, this is the most exciting music-related thing I'm looking forward to.

Im so ready for this new era of taylor, I hope the album is as good as their other releases

I bet if she livestream the video of the song she inmediately will release the song on iTunes

Wasn't expecting the music video even more exciting! I wonder if the people watching the live stream will count for streaming points. (Not really sure how that works yet).

She should be the itunes surprise release artist if that ever really would be happening sometime in the future.

Single + video, 2 weeks later album with VMA performance tie-in etc.

I mean, if she already has an album cover, the album tracklist should be close to done too.
