Taylor Swift - evermore

Wow, I loved reading that. I wish we got this kind of insight for albums more often.

I loved reading about how she wrote 'tis the damn season, we love a wine drunk hookup with an ex anthem! I agree with him, I think that's one of the best songs they've written.

I also loved reading about how he mixed her vocal and left it with a relatively "dry" sound. It's so true that in a lot of Pop stuff, they EQ vocals in such a flat way that it takes away the magic (I think Joel Little is the biggest culprit of this out of Taylor's collaborators). They really did a great job on these two albums of making sure all the facets of her voice could shine, especially her lower range.

I planted the seed for a Delicate 2.0 slow burning radio smash and I will see the harvest.

she/her
I wonder if Taylor will never acknowledge ME!'s existence ever again. It would be most pleasing to me if she just swept it under the carpet.
Honestly it's a lead single that still got to number 2 and it's not really like Taylor to completely disavow her old music, so I do think we'll see it performed at some point on some tour if even just for the little kids in the audience ddd.

I’m holding out hope for a ppv concert this year. Something relatively stripped back, but with a full band would be ideal. It could be in support of everything she’s done since folklore and anything new this year (including re-recordings). A girl can dream, I guess. I’d still live for anything she’d put out in the same vein as long pond, too.

Your Midas touch on the Chevy door
November flush and your flannel cure
"This dorm was once a madhouse"
I made a joke, "Well, it's made for me"
How evergreen, our group of friends
Don't think we'll say that word again
And soon they'll have the nerve to deck the halls
That we once walked through
One for the money, two for the show
I never was ready so I watch you go
Sometimes you just don't know the answer
'Til someone's on their knees and asks you
"She would've made such a lovely bride
What a shame she's fucked in the head," they said
But you'll find the real thing instead
She'll patch up your tapestry that I shred

It would be cute to invert the formula a bit and do a similar things but maybe a 'Plugged' style gig? Can be in-studio with the guys or whatever, but maybe a play-through where some songs get a little beefed? Just for the sake of variety...
You just put the idea in my head of her doing an MTV Unplugged show. I need her to quarantine a few fans (hey bestie @TaylorSwift13 <3) and do that immediately.
