Taylor Swift - Lover

  1. Oh and fan pictures with Taylor from the secret session today are starting to surface, so we know that it’s real.

andru, Ashling92 and Music Is Life like this.
  2. She's serving Younique/LuLaRoe MLM mom in those photos and honestly, given the visual aesthetic this time around it feels correct.

(I never put stock in listening party "testimonials" either but good lord I certainly hope there's better on this album than just The Archer)
  3. I don't know how to feel. I don't wanna get my hopes up.

  4. Why is this giving me
  5. Not that being the recipe for Britney Jean.
  6. Remember at the Born This Way listening party when that twink reported back that the intro to Bloody Mary legitimately made him scared? This is why we don't trust stans hearing an album for the first time.

  7. Oh, Taylor isn't the only artist releasing an album titled Lover on August 23rd.
  8. I hope this yields another extensive rant from Taylor so we can get more amazing gifs out of this situation.
  9. "Damn hot Zone". "Pour some B-love into it".

Why are her fans like this?
  10. Her stans writing and expressing themselves like they are forever 12 make my skin crawl.

Judging by that tragic description, I get the feeling I'll keep three tracks at best.

  11. Gonna post this here to compare to in a few weeks, ddddd:

    - Apparently Track 2 is a mega-bop that everyone will love.
    - Track 3 is like ... "Style mixed with The Beatles" (The new 'Lyrics that can cut glass'~*)
    - Track 6 = shit. Really shit. (From multiple people - they mentioned it's the next closest thing to LobotoME! + made for radio. Cringey lyrics.)
    - Track 10 = very emotional. Get your tissues, etc.
    - Track 12 = possible collab?
    - Track 13 = Taylor's favorite song on the album, very romantic.
    - Track 18 = Taylor produced this one herself - another "get your tissues" track.

The most forgettable tracks are Track 7, Track 9, & Track 17.

  16. This is late, but I’m surprised no one’s commented the beginning of The Archer kinda sounds like the beginning of Come Clean? Legend Hilary’s legacy, etc.
