Dear John featuring Jessica Simpson please! Drag that man for the filth he is please.
I mean.... ''featuring Katy Perry'' is right there as an option, but I miss Jessica so I'm going with yours.
Dear John featuring Jessica Simpson please! Drag that man for the filth he is please.
The last thing we really need is to give Swifties more ammo to feel entitled to send him death threats and other harmful messages because of what happened well over a decade ago. By all means call him out on the way he used to act with his partners, but there's a limit and the way Taylor's fans seem okay with crossing it is really unsettling. John may have acted like a total dick in his time but he doesn't deserve the kind of things said to him, nobody does. There is never any excuse to send someone you don't know death threats and messages hoping they die in horrible ways.Dear John featuring Jessica Simpson please! Okay who said anything about death threats calm down and he’s an awful awful person, of course he doesn’t deserve to die.The last thing we really need is to give Swifties more ammo to feel entitled to send him death threats and other harmful messages because of what happened well over a decade ago. When Red TV came out, John literally shared death threats he was getting from Swifties. The fact that a large number of them think it was okay then, when really none of the songs were about him (let's not get started on the fact Jake also got similar messages) will not hold back when Speak Now TV comes out. Your suggestion that Taylor gets another one of John's exes to hop on a song about him would literally add fuel to the fire.Okay who said anything about death threats calm down and he’s an awful awful person, of course he doesn’t deserve to die.
Also dating a 19 year old is not a dick move but creep move and also divulging your sexual past to playboy (ick) also when the song originally came out his outrage that someone actually calls him out on his shit he acted like a man child and trying to follow that up with an awful song about her. So I hope you aren’t implying I’m wishing him death.
He needs to be left in the 00’s.
Dating a teenager when you’re in your 30’s feels pretty creepy behaviour to me.When Red TV came out, John literally shared death threats he was getting from Swifties. And I really don't think the age gap makes him a creep. The age gap is not bigger than that of my parents, and I can assure you that my Dad is not a creep. Toxicity is not limited to age gaps in relationships. It may happen often but it is not a hard and fast rule that all older men are creeps and all older women are predators either when they date someone younger.
And that makes it alright does it? "Oh everyone else does it so we can too" is a piss poor excuse for rancid behaviour. Says all I need to know about you so I'm going to just leave this here before I lose any more brain cells.Dating a teenager when you’re in your 30’s feels pretty creepy behaviour to me.
The people who send death threats are always going to act like that regardless of anything, most fanbases have a certain number of fans who cross the line.
Maybe if he didn’t treat women like shit none of this would have happened but that’s another story.
You really were just looking for an argument so I think you’ve lost enough brain cells already…And that makes it alright does it? Maybe because sending death threats and wishing death on someone, regardless of how you feel about them, is a disgusting and inexcusable act and I have lost a very dear friend to suicide after they got this sort of treatment, so god forbid I don't think it's a "kii" or a good idea to incite that kind of bile within an already toxic fanbase. Why are you defending men.
No, it IS that deep. You passed off the horrible things the fanbase you belong to as nothing and excused it by saying "every fanbase has people who cross the line" and you made a "joke" about getting one of his exes to hop on a song that we all know the Swifties will use and weaponize against him when Speak Now comes out. You are part of the problem, you may not have directly sent him messages but you are making light of it and that is just as bad,You’ve twisted what I said to your own agenda and obviously have personal issues going on here. The Jessica Simpson comment was a joke. I never said it was okay that an fanbase wishes death on anyone! Also the fact you’re a big John Mayer fan might be playing into this ya think?
He dated a teenager who hadn’t long turned 19 she was barely legal and just starting out her career and if you had listened to Dear John and Could’ve, Would’ve, Should’ve you see what a deep scar that caused to her and it effects millions of young people who get sucked into toxic relationships by people who are older than them.
It’s really not that deep and no one in this thread has wished any death on anyone so it was a total reach and trying to paint it like I said that is gross but go ahead.
No the problem is men thinking they can get away with this behaviour but ago ahead and use buzzwords which are so over used and take away when people are actually effected by them. Anyway I’m done enjoy shouting into the ether. No, it IS that deep. I'd be saying this regardless of whether or not I was a fan of John. It's gross and there is no excuse for it. You are not going to gaslight me into thinking my reaction to a very valid problem within the Taylor fandom is just because I have "personal issues" How dare you.
I didn’t even start this so let’s not for some cheap likes thanks. Honestly this place is a hell hole. Mad house. The lack of engagement on this back and forth...
