I genuinely liked a handful of songs on Post's latest album. His sound's become much more pop.
I'll happily give him a chance. I'm guessing Fortnight is the first single, too (if we get one?).
I'm actually more worried about how LOUD Florence is going to sound on a track called Florida!!!...

I'm interested in the album heaving four "sides". Will it be like four stories? Four themes? Four perspectives? Stages of a break up? Maybe each of them will also have a specific sound? So much potential

I think she’s pulling an Olivia. All the CDs and vinyl on her store say “+ bonus track “The Manuscript””, so I won’t be surprised if all the other variants will have a different track.
She’s been naming her album variants for the last four years, except this time, so I can see her differentiating them with the bonus tracks.
That's why I am thinking/hoping/being delusional about. On the cover she is only showing half her face and it has a border, like on 1989. I hope she is hneriergrd-ing everyone with the sensual poetic aesthetic and the sound will be just pop bops and bangers. Wouldn't be the first time album aesthetics did not represent the sound.
I like how many people are fearing overexposure. She couldn't be more exposed than she already is, people made Cruel Summer a hit without her doing anything really, her albums are all charting as we speak. People clearly crave Taylor content. And even if people turn on her she'd still sell out all the stadiums and end up at #1 with every release. If she'd start releasing a variant each week for the rest of the year, she'd likely fill out the whole Billboard Top 30.

Clara Bow was a working class girl who suffered profoundly due to class anxiety and the exclusions that came with that, and her retirement was a result of hereditary mental health problems. She lived with a husband who supported her for many, many years and should not be used for lazy pot shots at a man who keeps himself to himself.
