Teedra Moses

I'll be genuinely surprised if this garners any replies whatsoever, but I've got to at least try. Most underrated R&B artist ever, more than likely...

"Complex Simplicity" (2004) is absolutely perfect.

'For a Lifetime' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HJgF_VaIrM&fmt=18

'Outta My Head' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NirJoV17kkk&fmt=18

New song from this year: 'Oh Love' http://soundcloud.com/soulculture/10-oh-love

Perfect perfect perfect.

She also co-wrote 'Dip It Low' I guess, if that floats your boat... Just listen to her plz. I need her second album so bad.

What a queen! A legend! Complex Simplicity is one of the great rnb albums of the last decade -- dense with layers, rough, smooth, everything. I've got her on twitter and she seems optimistic but it's been an awful long time without an album now... I don't know if I dare hope for that Lioness album to come out. Love her new tracks, though.

Complex Simplicity is a masterpiece, one of the best R&B albums I've ever heard.

"Oh Love" sounds very promising, I really hope she releases something new soon.

I barely understand a single thing that girl says on twitter but I laugh at every tweet. She is phenomenality personified (think I may have just made that word up). Not a single misstep on "Complex Simplicity". 'Outta My Head' is probably my favourite.

Pleasantly surprised by 2 replies already!

The entire album is flawless but if I had to pick a favorite it would probably be the title track. It's so uplifting and makes me feel good everytime I listen to it.

I was at this concert in 2005. At that stage I fully expected her to remain in the spotlight, but that hasn't happened really, has it?! It'd be great if she came back.

She sounds great live! If only she was more well known.

Yes it's a bit tragic knowing that this thread will struggle to get to page 2 whilst Joe McElderry has two threads sitting right at the top of this forum, one of which is over 50 pages long.

Four new Teedra songs from earlier this month:

Forever Ur Girl feat. Novel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4m_-uOVTDU&fmt=18
I Adore You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FFGRe38Amk&fmt=18
Together We Grind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G0Vl-1Z58g&fmt=18
Falling 4 U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itv1p7Rl36Y&fmt=18

Forever Ur Girl, Together We Grind and I Adore You are HOT. Dunno about Falling 4 U right now. Kinda boring but hopefully it will grow on me.

Also, a video for R U 4 Real: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL1x9XAkBS0&fmt=18

Noah's Arc got me into her when I started collecting music to make my own soundtracks.

This is her cover of Musiq's Whoknows, it's beautiful and played over the first love scene. It sat unreleased for 2-3 years.

This is Take Me, with Raphael, such a beautiful song.

And finally, a new song of hers I adore. "All I That Have" from Royal Patience.

Of course I love Be Your Girl, and her album is one of the best R&B albums of the 2000s. She truly deserves more.

Dancey, lively.
Austin Millz ft. Teedra Moses & Dave B - Feels Good

Salaam Remi, Teedra Moses, & D-Nice - Black Love

Smooth.
Teedra Moses featuring Uncle Chucc & Brody B. - Make Me

Still can't believe she did not make For a lifetime a single even though all songs from this album are single worthy
