The last two songs are certainly hard hitters. Nothing had grabbed me quite has hard as Happiness and I’m In Love With You on the first few listens, but perhaps more time is needed.
I kind of thought this on my first listen this morning, although Oh Caroline instantly jumped out. I need to give this a few more listens, but one thing I can say is it definitely felt like a more structured concise album which is welcome after the bloat of the last album. The record is nice but a bit twee, the singles are so obvious and a lot of the time Matty just sounds like he’s trying to imitate someone else?
What is the piano melody in Oh Caroline reminding me of? Someone help please!
Correct. But not having Jack’s voice on them already makes these a vast improvement.People posting about how it’s so similar to the Bleachers as if it’s a bad thing

The problem with the album sounding "like Bleachers" isn't that it sounds like Bleachers, but rather that every album Jack's been involved in lately has sounded just like Bleachers. I quite like this one though.
