The Ashlee Simpson vs. Lindsay Lohan Rate - I Didn't Steal Your Boyfriend

Any guesses?
Get that dog outta here.

Both of them have some shocking filler. "That Medley" manages to jump up and down on two songs I like so even though I stan Lindsay I couldn't bring myself to give it a decent score.

Alright, let's get this show on the road ladies!

Lohan.

Simpson.

Who doesn’t love a bit of Cheap Trick?

Sprockrooster - 9
A danceable rocktrack. Well done Lindsay in covering this cause it sounds great like this.

iheartpoptarts - 8
I’m glad this is a cover. Brighten up things a bit why don’t we.

orbison - 7
At the time I was into this cover. Today... not so much. But I give it a 7 for the nostalgia moment.

Music is Life - 7.5
This reminds me of something but I'm not sure what. Anyway, this is lots of fun, but not much else.

At the time I was into this cover. Today... not so much.

This is a Good Cover but it isn’t anything innovative. I like the last CRY YENNNI_CANNOT_USE_REAL_WORDS_PROPERLY in the post-chorus.

pop3blow2 - 5
Pretty by the numbers karaoke version of this song. One cover was enough on this album. Plus the other cover was a better choice.

imaduck - 5
I'm not really here for covers, but Lindsay actually does a fairly decent job of performing this.

Cathal - 5
Pointless.

CasuallyCrazed - 4
The low point of A Little More Personal and probably the most unoriginal cover she could have picked. Her voice sounds like she's worked her way through a full pack of cigarettes in the recording booth and like she changed her mind on wanting to record this halfway through. However... I still stan a bit.

Seventeen Days - 4
Sorry sis, but Letters to Cleo already did this cover. And theirs is superior. Her voice can’t seem to keep up with the music on the chorus.

DJ Hazey - 2
It's not like I was ever a fan of the original so it's not that, but just in general this song doesn't seem knock me over no matter who sings it. No thanks.

Too Young to Die

This is a good electronic mid-tempo, I really wish we get these songs on a finished product. Wait, wait, wait, is that actually Britney on the middle-8, or is Lindsay weirdly good at imitating her? And why have her on such a small part? Confused. It really sounds like her.

DJ Hazey - 8
She's done so many Britney songs, it's about time the two work together. Not quite as... explosive as I expected, but I still can't find myself resisting it either. That little "I don't wanna die, noo" at the end of chorus is my favorite little part.

RUNAWAY - 7.5
this was such a weirdly poignant song to leak, being at that really weird time where Lindsay was a fucking MESS and everyone thought she was going to die. This song leaked right at that time and I remember being really weirded out.

pop3blow2 - 7.5
This is fine. Borders on too basic, but slightly elevated by the talent involved.

CasuallyCrazed - 7
This is definitely more of a Myah Marie soundcloud demo than an actual Britney session, but I bop to it in a Circus Taiwan-only bonus track type of way.

unnamable - 6
OK I guess, luckily Lindsay is like a horror movie final girl and keeps surviving.

Sprockrooster - 5
If this is a legit collaboration, between this two queens, than I am heavily disappointed.

orbison - 4
This can't be real. Is it? No way Britney recorded this mess. I thought this was one of those songs by random singers that people pretend to be by someone famous. Like that song that we all thought in 2009 that featured Rihanna and Gaga and in the end, it was Eva Simons debut single.

Seventeen Days - 2
I was so hopeful after ‘Bossy’ that the rest of the songs on this album were gonna be total bangers. Lindsay sounds like she’s just going through the motions on this, it’s completely emotionless.

iheartpoptarts - 2
I do see why some of these didn’t get released.

I need more background info on Too Young to Die.

Up until this rate I always thought this was a fake a track. Is it really real?

No way thats actually Britney Spears on the track. Or is it?

Spirit in the Dark was a pretty mysterious album project besides brief "Bossy" promo, official info is very hard to come by surrounding the leaks.

Apparently Too Young to Die" was produced by JR Rotem for Lolene's debut originally and it is her you hear on backing vocals for those 2 lines, not Britney (obviously). The Britney connection was just mistagged leaks.
