I'm surprised it's the first one out! I gave it a 7, which was above average for my ballot.

I do recall wandering around on some dirt paths... there was a satellite building behind the arena where the press room etc. were located. There was also some funky looking building (with jagged edges) which I think was a shopping center, but we didn’t go in.

I just thought it really strange that there were only one or two finished blocks of flats when I was there.

We break the 6.0 average with this next elimination, which is predictably the first loss from the AVĪCI EP. The final track on the EP, So Much Better (Avicii remix), to me, seems like an unnecessary remix that takes a decent track and tunes the vocals up to obnoxious screeches that are very jarring on the ears. So I’m not surprised that a) this track didn’t generate much commentary, and b) 50% of the comments received remarked on the generally awful vocals.
Poor Sandro Cavazza. His original version of the song is actually decent (and the video is quite the thirst trap - definitely a recommended watch):
Sandro’s still got two vocal tracks left in the rate - Stories’ closing track Gonna Love Ya, and the absolute BOP that is Without You. But are they not long for the rate either?

I don’t really think of Avicii as someone who pitched up vocals a lot, but he was really feeling that technique on EP(01). I remember it took me ages to get used to Rita’s voice.
I think pitched up vocals were expected in 2017, along with that annoying squeal.
