Excited to come home from work and finding this rate starting so quickly, well done @Jwentz ... Here's to a great (love the commentary and Babes Shade already), but slightly swift rate. I prefer them to come thick and fast, not like some around here.

I'm A Ruin was in the Top 5 contenders for my 11... it's quite stunning.
(Along with Robot, Primadonna, Blue and Buy The Stars, sue me, I have great taste in possible 11's).

Ah well, at least Girls made a swift departure. It was my only 0. And uncomfortably patronising song that never seems to end.

The Family Jewels was absolutely terrible the first few times I listened to it, but I actually kinda low-key like it now. She sounds absolutely bonkers and I like it. I especially like the falsetto in the background.

Girls is alright, I really don't know what everybody hates about it. Like, at all... I agree that it all sounds a bit preachy and "I'm soooo over this", but that's the only gripe I have with it.

Guilty really shouldn't be out left either. That song really speaks to me personally and I love it. She had such a demon to kill writing that song and I get her... Shame it's out already...

So yeah. Not really happy with these eliminations...

You've all been dying to know I'm sure so here's how my averages shape up (excluding bonuses):

The Family Jewels: 8.07
Electra Heart: 8.47
FROOT: 8.17

So not exactly an inconsistent discography she's got herself there. Some thoughts:
- My 11 went to an underrated album cut that doesn't have a hope of winning but might fare a little better thanks to my extra push, while my other contenders should finish very well (if not top) regardless.
- Despite even getting an extension I still need to send additional commentary in order to do two of my favourites justice. Not unsurprisingly, I found FROOT the toughest album to provide commentary for, particularly the middle section of the track listing.
- Even with her relatively weaker songs, you can always count on Marina to bash out an above-average middle-eight. Commendable, really.
- Just Desserts and that Electra Heart non-song to go next please.

Genuinely surprised at your scores. Would not have pictured you as a fan of Marina's work as a whole.
