That Ruth moment is well... a f**king moment! Makes me wish she had swallowed her pride and stuck with the contract she got after the show. Even if it was all rock ballad covers and Anastacia rejects, it would of still been better than 90% of the other X Factor musical outputs.

God, 2008 was just brilliant wasn't it. Even the blatant filler acts were quality (and given disproportionately large numbers of solos in the charity single).

If I'm having a bad day i will watch that Listen performance and feel epic. And even if Nicole never has another hit she earn her place amongst all the divas in the second she took to realise her mic was off and steal one from a lesser.

I love the vice grip Alexandra has on Beyoncé throughout the performance! Seriously though, that performance is probably the best duet ever on the show.
