The Great British Bake Off

I'm definitely routing for Kate to win. I really am starting to dislike the big guy (is it Louis?) and I don't know why. He just seems so smug faced all the time, I was glad he fell a little. I'm very surprised Nancy has never been a front runner.

It's because he covers his competitiveness with such a thin layer of jolly flab.

I think we've ended up with a fairly strong finally six, they're all quite consistent. Chetna is a little middling, but consistent nevertheless.

I'm so pleased nobody left, I was really fearing for Kate. They are all on such an even keel now, that it is almost impossible to call.

Nancy is wonderful.

She's never been Star Baker has she???

I thought she had it in the bag this week but her first bake let her down.

Nancy has been coasting for a bit I think, she's being getting worse until last night. I actually cheered when the smarmy Louie's didn't work out as well as he hoped and you could see on his face the absolute despair. I can't stand the guy.

That was probably the most technically demanding and impressive episode of the entire series.

The top three will definitely have Queen Nancy and Luis, I think, with a crapshoot between all the rest for the last spot; they're all very evenly matched.

I think Richard is my fave. It's a shame he's gone from hitting it out of the park almost every week to being a bit of a disaster zone.

I think Luis would be much more likeable if he'd purposely thrown a round/week by having some sort of disaster and then shown off his humble side.
