She was just sometimes trying TOO hard to make the flavours different when all they really wanted was a good bake. Lemon coffee did sound vile.

She was a bit too style over substance for me at times. But this year is so stacked that anyone going would be a shock really.
Missed Nelly!
Sumayah going was a shock, but she did badly in all three challenges. I had her pegged as a finalist, personally. But coffee and lemon was never going to work.

Two great contestants eliminated in a row. A real shame.

All the bakers left are amazing, so anyone going now will always be shocking.
The judges definitely want Dylan to win, you can tell but he probably is the best out of all of them. His creations are always so good. Gill is the dark horse for me.

I think it's between Dylan and Gill at this point. The rest are great of course but a bit too inconsistent.
It really isn’t the same.
It also feels like a foregone conclusion that Dylan will win, not like he doesn’t deserve it, but a tad anticlimactic if he does.
Gill was probably the right person to go home from this top 4. She was a good baker, but probably the one that pushed the boundaries the least.
Christiaan is peaking at the right time, so I suppose it’s possible he could win, but I think Dylan has this in the bag too.

I found Georgie really annoying this week, especially during the technical.
Dylan is the one for me, he’s so consistent and not had any real disasters.

Just catching up with the semi-final. I do think it’s an excellent year, but I’m not thrilled with the remaining bakers.
Christiaan sets me on edge for some reason, and Gill’s “ooer I don’t understand all these posh things I’m northerrrrrrn!!!” lost its charm about 4 weeks ago.
