Meh. The safe choice. Couldn’t justify Dylan after this week. But then realistically Christiaan did better than the others overall. But Georgie had the best showstopper. She’ll be the most palatable for Waitrose magazine anyway.

That was perhaps the most unenjoyable and stressful episode of Bake Off I've seen?
It's horrible watching the series long front runner bomb each challenge especially due to timing issues. Georgie was quite nice and I was happier to see her win than Christiaan who I felt like had the most boring bakes of the 3 of them, but a shame that a really excellent series ended in a bit of an unsatisfying manner.

I felt Christiaan should have won (he won the 2 challenges), at least he had more interesting flavours and presentation.
Georgie is a safe baker, so whatever.

A pretty underwhelming end to what has been mainly a brilliant series. It's not like any of the final three would be a bad winner per say, but Dylan really was the best baker, just a shame he had a mare of a time this week of all weeks.
Given how the episode panned out, Georgie was the right winner. She’s a safe baker, yes, but she’s competent. That showstopper looked stunning.
What a nightmare for Dylan. I felt for him as he looked frustrated throughout.

I just caught up and that was a massively lacklustre final. The showstoppers were anything but.
I felt like Christiaan didn’t really deserve to be there and should have gone about 4 weeks ago as he was always middling - neither amazing nor terrible. But poor Dylan! He was amazing mostly throughout bar the odd slip among the way, and then just kind of fucked it all up at the end!
