A broken clock is right twice a day.
Imagine listening to 2 whole BTS albums just for the sake of dragging them
The ends justify the means, but personally I could never be brave enough to put myself through that
The Album is not GREAT but it’s certainly not BAD. What the fuck?
I know y’all hate MAMAMOO but I don’t think they would have gotten worse comeback if Dingga was the comeback instead of Aya. They really fucked themselves with that song.
Now you're being unfair! Eyes Wide Open doesn't sit close to worst album contenders.
With that said I did vote for Twice in the category "Act Most At Odds With Their Ability To Achieve Better" since Eyes Wide Open sounded a bit bland and uninspired. I'll take my hot takes to another facility however since this one has exceeded its capacity.
You really want people to dislike IZ*ONE even more than they already do huh
Can we start K-Pop Slasher early @aux
Not being shady but The Album turned out exactly how I expected a BLACKPINK album to be tbh
And me. Fantastic wasn’t it.
Is that Isa? Ughhh she's so pretty!! Also happy birthday queen
Not you exposing yourself before I got the chance to do it in a funny post
No but I’m happy that you like it!
And while we’re here, let’s get one thing straight - IZ*ONE definitely do not have a release that has more than three good songs.
The Album wasn't... great but there were certainly worse albums released this year. Gidle's album was a steaming pile of dog shit.
[#] should've made Top 5 tbh
So it’s true what they say, Kylie stans really are the worst!
Kylie albums since 2014 <3
I don’t disagree with this!
first time experiencing my faves get dragged on here <3 i get to cross that off my KPJ bucket list earlier than i thought!
whoever voted for them,
These last few hot takes have a weirdly strong and bitter taste
Yeah, The Album is... a collection of BLACKPINK songs. It's nothing groundbreaking, but on the other I'm not sure what's so bad about it either. I think it being one of the 2020 albums practically everyone here must have actually listened to, plus the disappointment over it being so short might've "helped" it quite a bit in the poll.
I just don’t think any act could’ve lived up to the hype that BLACKPINK and their team were facing. I actually kind of liked the fact that the team was like “we’ll just continue what we’re doing” and as much as they were inconsequential to the songs, Selena and Cardi B as collaborators were 100% the right choices for 2020 so you can’t even be mad at them there.
All the right decisions were made, but maybe the lack of surprise was why the final result was so unsatisfying?
