  2. Oh god there couldn’t be a more Brandon title than “Imploding the Mirage” but I’m here for it.

  3. Fuck off they are playing Southampton?!!!!!!!!!!

    AHHHHH

  4. Terrible title but I'm always here for new Killers music.

  5. I'm excited for the album. Nil interest in the tour though.

  6. I'm here for this, this announcement has timed perfectly with me finally buying the discography vinyl box set.

  8. It’s £51 on the Sound of Vinyl website as we speak. Such a bargain.

  9. Damn! She already paid £83:99

  10. That's still a bargain, it's still £160 most places. Plus the postage is like £8 on that website, so it's not much difference.

  12. Brandon described the sound of the album to Q Magazine: "It somehow captures Manchester and Bruce Springsteen, I think that’s when we’re at our best, when we’re able to take these different elements and make them work." He said the lead single is reminiscent of The Kinks.

Still no date, but it can't be too far off.

  15. Sounds good.

Though I wished they'd capture the sound of The Desired Effect a bit.

  16. I was hoping they'd go for something like Run For Cover sonically, which took the urgency of the earlier records and matured it a bit. I feel like they hit a real sweet spot on that track that didn't quite reverberate through the rest of the album as much as I'd liked. Still excited to see what they've come up with here, though.
