Thanks for a great part 3 @evilsin
Great write ups, beautiful write ups!

This rate was the worst of the three for my 11, so I'm hoping to see my flawless taste represented in the Top 3 again next year are we HOTEL girls, Insane gays, Guess Who Is Back lovers or Strip fanatics around here?
Thank you, my amazing reserve host!
For now my 11 is none of those that you mentioned, dddd.
I need Walk of my Life to have a good showing next round. I just do.
The song or the album? I think it has potential to be the highest rated ballad of Part IV.

Okay maybe heartless, but its either that or walk of my life.

Now that I've got your attention - what is your opinion on the trend of not sending in the commentary for the rate? God knows I love your commentary for Kumi's music when you have anything to say, but I do agree with the sentiment, that people tend to only read up on their own commentary in the elimination posts while the host worked on incorporating all the other in the narrative as well. Moreover, having the voters post the commentary on their own after every elimination fuels the discussion and makes for a livelier rate in general. Not to mention the write-ups could be somewhat easier to do.

Thoughts?

Well, I like reading commentary in write-ups, especially when hosts comment on in, but I haven't been sending mine in so I can be motivated to be more active in threads, and if it's easier for you to not have it, then that's cool.

Hmm...due to time zone differences and being busy with work, it's hard for me to participate in discussions, especially in real time. I would probably just end up not saying much at all.

Yeah, that's the main takeaway from this, but not everybody reads the entire write-up.

I mean, if you put your thoughts on the songs to paper when you are rating them, then you can always log in once a day or a couple of days and post your commentary as a post, which would trigger a second way of discussion in case we moved on with the eliminations. In the end this is a forum and not a chat, so every post has its weight even if it was posted later. Besides, it's rare for me to post more than 2 eliminations a day.
