It seems like a lot of the 'residents' from Westview are going to be on the show. I'm imagining at least part of it will be when she's stuck as Agnes after Wanda put a spell on her.

Yeah for some reason when it was announced I assumed it was a prequel/ origin story about Agatha but it seems like it’s a direct sequel which is much more exciting.

Captain Marvel might be the face of the Avengers… we just haven’t had any Avengers films yet. I’m sure things would have been slightly different without a pandemic, as films would have hit their premieres and things wouldn’t be pushed.

From all those pictures from Agatha's set you can see that the budget is much higher than it was on Wandavision.

It also benefits from not having to film during the pandemic (which kind of ruined some of the moments near the end of the series).

Some social media speculation thinks Kang will try to pull in all the Wandas from the various timelines together and the one from the sacred timeline re-appears to put a stop to all of it, but I'm not sure that would even make sense/be good.

This is a monumental win for Marvel. The movies that make a lot of money often get nomination, but an acting nomination is a high sign of respect. Plus she REALLY deserves it.

She deserved the win back in the 90s so she better get her long overdue Oscar this year! She really was so impactful in WF. Just wish they hadn’t killed her off.

I'm actually anticipating something like this to happen and that will be it for Wanda. I think 'Secret Wars' will be the last big Multiverse movie. At some point, another major shift is needed to keep things fresh. Then, I'm guessing it'll be about mutants, Doctor Doom and/or Galactus.

There was an awful lot about her being a "nexus being" in WandaVision that went nowhere. But given how much other stuff went nowhere*, I don't know if that will come back or not.

But it WOULD make sense for her to play a pivotal role in Secret Wars if somehow being a Nexus Being allowed her to restore the universe (perhaps indeed at the cost of her life/contract? Though I don't know how many times you can "bench"/kill off a character and still expect her "ultimate sacrifice" to be moving...though I guess if anyone could do it, it's Elizabeth...).


* it might sound like it, but I don't hate WandaVision. I was obsessed at first, and it took a big swing...I just don't think it landed the plane. To the point where I wonder if it was re-configured to allow more multiversal digressions throughout the Phase...

If she wins (or even if she doesn’t) they should push another theatre run for Wakanda Forever and try to push it over a billion.

Apparently Chloe Zhao is building a reputation behinds the scenes. Crews are not fond of her antics and how her boyfriend is shoehorning himself in the directing process. With how Eternals performed financially, how divisive the movie was and these new rumors, I’ll be surprised if she continues on in future sequels.


In other news, glad the talented cast of the Bear is getting work from the fantastic first season.

Yeah if James Cameron can give his cast kidney infections and force them to piss themselves in a swimming pool and continue to make the biggest films of all time then Zhau should be good.

She may be difficult but she’s also an auteur working in a very rigid Marvel Machine that doesn’t benefit her style of filmmaking. I don’t doubt she had issues in production but I’m not here for the misogyny of some of the internet’s reaction to her and the rumour mill.
