Still surprised I managed to score all 102 songs (100 if we don't include the remixes).
And I see what you did here:

The shade.
Dddd unintended shade.

The Part of Your World cover is absolutely heinous, and it offends me to my very core that it survived the first elimination. I know it’s probably out next, but it really doesn’t deserve that bubbling under number 1.

You know what? In my opinion, it's always...

Time For Tea! (#4)
(format credit to @soratami and his R&B bop queens rate.)

With 19 voters:
The number one song has a 9.81 average, meaning y'all just can't get enough of it.
The song at #101 has an average of 4.41, a full point higher than Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.
There are 5 6 songs with a 9+ average, and 53 49 songs left with an average below 7 (Whew a another 9+ song and not as many less than 7 songs!)
There are 7 sections in the top 10, including three of the Hannah Soundtracks, and no
more sections represented in the top 20, and it's honestly still pretty great, but I could still do with some other songs in there instead of what's made it.
There are 5 sections in the bottom 10, and while not really upset about any of them, some of you might be.
The current highest average for a section (besides my own) is 9.11 9.15 I love 9+ album averages so much. The lowest for any section is 2.9
Three Four Miley albums have received 11s for eight ten different songs, and Four Five Hannah Soundtracks have received 11s for nine eleven different songs. That means that every album received at least one 11!
Besides my own, 54 66 songs have received at least one 10.
Lowest scores for certain songs are six seven 0s, eighteen seventeen 1s, one 1.5, twelve twelve 2s, two three 2.5s, one 2.75, fifteen seventeen 3s, one 3.25, and two three 3.5s, so that's 53 62 songs that have a score below 4. This is based on if a song's minimum score is that number, so if the amount decreased its cause those songs got lower scores.
Bold = didn't change from first five ballots
Grey = First five ballots stats
Green = Increased/got better than first five ballots
Red = Decreased/got worse than first five ballots.

This is based on the last four ballots @Remorque @Mirwais Ahmadzaï @savilizabeths and @Maki sent so that's it everyone! Hope you're ready for the next elimination.

I will say this as a Disney stan, though:

I can't believe her take of 'Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah' left before her complete butchering of another Disney song...
Yeah, why do you guys hate this more than her massacre of Part of Your World which just offends me on every level?
The Part of Your World cover is absolutely heinous, and it offends me to my very core that it survived the first elimination. I know it’s probably out next, but it really doesn’t deserve that bubbling under number 1.
I'll be very surprised if "Part of Your World" isn't the next elimination.
Y'all couldn't even try to keep it a mystery, huh?

Part Of Your World is a cover of the classic song from The Little Mermaid, written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. It was used as part of DisneyMania5, the next album in the series, and was actually used to open it. Production was done by Jay Landers, as he did the whole album apparently, which also includes covers from HSM stars Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and Lucas Grabeel. The album is the highest peaking of the DisneyMania series, going all the way to 14 on the Hot 200, so once again, good for it I guess. I hope the scores above tell you why this beat Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah. Not as many low scores, and a higher high score equals a higher placing. Okay, look. I love this song. I love The Little Mermaid. So when I first found out about this cover I was really excited. And I actually wasn't disappointed with it. I've always enjoyed this. I mean don't get me wrong. I don't think it's better than the original - and hell I prefer Carly's cover to this - but I like that Miley changed it up, and made it a bit more pop-rock. To me, it's always been about the lyrics when it comes to this song, and they still get the chance to shine here. And I think it's kinda beautiful in the production area moments, such as at "What would I give if I could live..." etc., and at the bridge, "When's it my turn? When's it my turn..." and the added "to beeee" is a nice touch. I think I might have even underscored this, cause I'm on listen 11 and not even close to being sick of it. But I'm not sure, cause I'm not upset the way I usually am if a 10 was leaving at this point. Maybe it's cause I always knew this wouldn't do well. Who knows?

What did y'all have to say about this? Quite a bit actually. Let's start with noted Disney stan @pop3blow2 (5) who gives it a middling score and says: Well, let me be clear, this is one of my favorite Disney songs of all time. This version is a mess. The production is kitchen sink of whatever sounded trendy. There’s no focus. Miley’s hollering over it all is not appealing. Give me Carly Rae’s version of this every day of the week if I can’t just listen to the original. Some fair points I guess, but it doesn't sound very trendy? It just sounds like a Miley song at the time, with some pretty elements in it. But I digress. @iheartpoptarts (4) just says something that makes me laugh: This sounds almost too angry. Like she’s about to hit you with one of the thingamabobs. The image of her (or Ariel) attacking someone with a thingamabob is quite entertaining. I get what you mean about the aggressiveness of the song though. I might not be alone, cause @Ana Raquel (7) might be a little here for it? Maybe? I don’t know if it’s because I’m so used to the original song that I find this strange? At the same time, I don’t dislike it? It definitely is strange on first listen, but you get used to it. @DJHazey is a stan!...of the original (3.5) Well this is one of all-time favorite Disney songs, so I'm wary about how this will go (it was my 11 in the Disney Classics rate, actually) -- Umm, does it fail completely? No. Am I cringing? Yes, bigtime. At least you don't think it fails. @savilizabeths (1) apologizes: As a huge fan of The Little Mermaid I hated this even as a kid. Her vocals sound awful, the arrangement is super weird. It just doesn’t sound good at all. It’s trying really hard but doesn’t stick the landing. Sorry song. It's okay, the song forgives you. Her vocals sound fine to me though. @M24 isn't sure about this: I'm not sure I like her version. I give it a 6 and I'm being generous. 6 isn't generous honey, but thanks for trying ddd. Finally we have a rare comment from @Remorque (2.5) who drags this to hell: There's absolutely zero emotion in this one and she sounds fucking atrocious. Don't even try to compare this to the Jodi Benson and Carly Rae Jepsen versions, because they're in a different league, let's get that straight. And yet you still didn't give it a 0. Thank you.

Well, you can listen again if you want.

(Currently on listen 19 and still bopping)
The classic original

Our Queen Carly's version

Some more DisneyMania
Since Hazey brought it up earlier and it's on the same album, and from the same movie, here's Ashley's cover:

And Vanessa's cover of Colors Of The Wind

(Um, this is kind of a mess. But I don't hate it?)

Dddd as rate host it's my duty to like every post.
I'm thinking something from Hannah Montana Forever, probably one of the duets.
Well you're half right.
Also my 0 can leave any time.
Hmmmmm...

You're going to be very happy.

Que Sera was recorded for Hannah Montana Forever, the final season's soundtrack. It was written by Toby Gad, Denise Rich, and BC Jean, and production was done by Toby Gad (who's no stranger to working with popstars, just look at this discography list. In fact, he'll pop up again later.) The song also samples the song Que Sera Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, which was a hit for Doris Day in 1956. Critical reception was lukewarm towards the song, as AllMusic found the talk-singing in the track "annoying", while EW just found the joy with which she sings "I'm free as a bird" an example of her happiness at being able to ditch the character. The song got a random, 2 minute music video, where "Hannah" isn't even played by Miley. Show-wise, the only time (as far as I remember) this song is featured is in the season 4 episode "Been Here All Along" (of course, another song on the soundtrack) where it's implied she performed it as part of a concert, and is only played for a few seconds. This to me shows that the showrunners recognized how low-quality the song is, and thought they should barely use it, if at all. Now, I'm not gonna talk about the episode, cause it revolves around a more important song, obviously. So, I get why y'all hate this. I used to not like it that much either. But it grew on me over the years. Her talk-singing in the verses actually flows really well and makes the song really catchy, and the absolute sass she displays in her vocals makes me smile, particularly the backing moments ("Whatever!" "No", "Haha", etc.). The production is boppy as well, and I love the acoustic guitar and handclap combo, especially in the bridge. Plus the in-universe show implications for the song make it a little more fun (pretty sure it's about Jake who MAJOR HANNAH SPOILER ALERT we find out cheated on Miley - the character - in the previous episode this is featured.) Still, I was only able to muster up a 9 for it (which is the lowest I was apparently willing to go for Hannah. Dddd the nostalgic stan is in full force here) because after a few repeated listenings it does start to get annoying. So I'm not mad about this at all.

Only four of you commented on this, so let's just see what y'all said. Let's start with @M24 (6) who can't even deal: Just no, Hannah. Annoying vocals. I get where you're coming from. But we're clearly kindred spirits and I love that. Next we have @savilizabeths (0) who was surprised when she scored this and will probably be ecstatic now: Oh, I’d never heard this before but it’s awful. What the hell even is this? Yikes, I didn’t think I’d be giving out a zero in this rate… Um it's a song, that's what it is. Go ahead and celebrate now. Next we have @iheartpoptarts (1) who tries to change the subject a little: This album is a lot of fun but it has its messes, that’s for sure. Could describe half her discography for most people, to be honest. Finally we have @DJHazey (6.5) who didn't completely hate this and brought up another song: There's some classic song called que sera, isn't there. I know this isn't going to be anything like that ddd. Cannot say it is and I also cannot say it's any better than just okay though in a way all the speak-singing is somehow endearing the more I hear it. But I also can't find myself taking the song seriously for some reason. Also, there's another song with this title I instantly thought of and I'll let it be posted but if anyone enters it in PJ00s without my permission after hearing it and bopping their asses off, I'm filing a lawsuit. Let me listen to it and get back to you. Also, I don't think it's supposed to be taken seriously.

Here's the music video.

It's...cute
The song it samples

This is actually kind of enjoyable
The song Hazey mentions

Ooooo this does bop.

Go to Disney World, you'll love it!

(I've never been to Disneyland. If I had a private jet and nothing to do all day I would go on like a Disney parks world tour or something.)

I never realized Selena had made an actual video for the Cruella De Vil song.

I have clearly not watched much Hannah Montana because I have no idea who Jake is.

Wait, I just Googled him and now I'm like, OH.

Oh heyyyyyy, that ATC-ish 'Que Sera' is quite good. Que sera sera, it goes around the world, etc.

I would love to go, if only I had the money for that. That would be amazing

Yeah, it's a pretty good video too.

Haha, yeah that's him. He's one of exactly two important boyfriends in the entire show.
Here's a Que Sera that @iheartpoptarts is sure to stan!

(I like hot boys and I cannot lie Dddddd)

This was a massive hit in Australia!

What it don't like is cute boys who don't make this video available in my country in 2019.
