Okay yeah I’m fine with that! It’s good but I never feel the need to revisit it, you know?
Ah. Well, that's your loss, cause it's amazing, and deserves to be revisited constantly xx.
Anyway, not sure I'll actually get #13 out tonight. It's hot and it's making me eel kinda lazy, but I also know I'll probably be up for a bit. So I'm just gonna relax and see what happens, but y'all might have to wait until tomorrow. Which is fine, cause most of you are asleep anyway ddd.

Umm, no I don't know!

Yes I'll be demanding The Climb exit until you drag me out of here kicking and screaming.
I scored The Climb high but if it left tomorrow I wouldn’t be too fussed. Kinda like a lot of the songs left honestly.
What is wrong with the two of you? The Climb is a literal amazing classic. Get TASTE.
Sis. You just scarred my heart in a way I am not sure if it will able to repair.
Don't worry Sprocky. I'm here for you.

Honestly surprised this isn't in the top 10.

But almost everything left is amazing, so I'm not too upset.

Start All Over was written by Scott Cutler, Anne Preven and Fefe Dobson, produced by Scott and Anne, and was recorded by Miley for her debut album. You'll probably recognize Scott Cutler and Anne Preven's names, due to their contributions to Full Circle (#33), The Driveway (#31), These Four Walls (#55) and Spotlight (#52). Fefe Dobson is a Canadian singer-songwriter who primarily does pop-rock and pop-punk, and released a few albums in the 00s, and is currently working on another one. Personally, she is an artist I need to listen to more of. So I'm assuming the song was originally written for one of Fefe's albums, but didn't make it and Scott and Anne ended up giving it to Miley to record. The song was released as the second and final single from the album on March 11, 2008, and reached a peak of #68 on the Hot 100, got to #93 in Canada, but maged a peak of #41 in Australian. Australians showing taste, shocker. Musically, the song is another pop-rocker in a similar vein to the rest of the album, though with a more intense, hard-hitting production that moves it closer to the pop-punk sound, making it sound like - in my unprofessional opinion - that it wouldn't have been terribly out of place on Paramore's RIOT! or Avril's The Best Damn Thing, released the same year. I've always considered the song to be an early Miley classic. It's just so easy to rock out too, with the catchy as fuck guitar line, the foot-tap ready drum, and the melodic rocker of a chorus that gets stuck in your head faster then you'd expect. It's certainly something that deserved to be a single - and deserved better - and is always such a rush to listen to. It's just effortlessly enjoyable, something you can along with and air guitar too in the safety of your bedroom. And the lyrics, that capture that feeling of just diving into a relationship unexpectedly, but really quickly all over again - possibly with the same person - are really enjoyable, and relatable, and the song as a whole is just a huge amount of fun. The music video captures that too, cause it follows Miley on a crazy, fun day where lots of weird, slightly nonsensical stuff happens. That's pretty much all I got for this song. I love it, I've always loved it, I never wanna skip it, I love jamming to it. Due to it being a single, and generally a fan-fave (I think) I though it would be put into the top 10, but there isn't really anything I'd replace with this, so I think this is a good time for it to leave now. Of course, it leaving now means See You Again is the last song standing from her debut, which again, not a surprise. The song was included in the set-lists for The Best Of Both Worlds Tour - where it opened the "Miley" section of the show - as well as the Wonder World Tour, and included in the set for Rock In Rio. Critics didn't really have anything to say about the song so once again, it's up to you guys.

Let's kick it off with @Entropy (6.5) who's a little "eh" on it: My first .5 score. I’m not sure about this song, it’s pleasant but there’s always something about it that never clicked fully with me. A good chorus though. The chorus is pop-rock perfection. An m gets added to that "eh" by @pop3blow2 (7.7): A strong vocal. The song though…. meh. Naturally she sounds great, because she excels at more rock-orieneted music. Just saying. Also, she just sounds great all the time so yeah. @iheartpoptarts (8) agrees with an earlier point I made, and has a nice way of saying this is basic: People give Disney pop a hard time but this could've been a solid single by just about any pop/rock act out there. Seriously, either the ones I mentioned, or P!nk or Kelly - it could've slotted on My December perfectly fine. I hate often people shit or have shit on "Disney" pop artists when they consistently served us great songs like this. Anyway, @Maki (8.5) is a big fan...of the music video: An amazing music video! I like it more than the song, actually. Still, this is such a great slice of pop rock. Yeah, honestly it's a classic, and technically Miley's first real video. The song itself shrunk for @M24 (8.75): I remember I liked this one more as a kid lol. It's still a bop but not my favorite. I get that, it can happen. @DJHazey (10) praises the lyrics: Still a major contender for an 11 here. That pop-rock banger I need, it never lets up once. The re-emphasized "start all over...I'm gonna start all over!" crashing in at the end of each chorus packs so much energy and "out of the fire and into the fire again" has always been that quirky line I can never get enough of. Honestly such a great line. Probably have Fefe to thank for that. @Sprockrooster (10) reminds us all of what matters: MASSIVE BOP ALERT Yes, yes it is, thanks for the warning. Finally, unlike @M24, this grew on @savilizabeths (10): At first as a kid I didn’t love this song. But it’s grown on me so much throughout the years. I love Miley’s early use of propulsive electric guitars and drums. This one is another one that everyone knows (because it played on Disney Channel every five minutes, I swear!) I can’t help but lose myself in it. As always, I'm glad you saw the light. Also, I stan your vocabulary.

Like Sprocky said, massive bop alert:

Live on the Best Of Both Worlds Tour:

Live on The Wonder World Tour:

Live at Rock In Rio:

And a Fefe Dobson classic:

Wow, I'm glad I sort of guessed right when I said See You Again (remix) and Start All Over had to leave by now. I would've tanked the remix too had I known it'd get that far. And I'm content with my Start All Over score, I think top 15 is pretty good for it.

Now it's time for Permanent December and Two More Lonely People to go... they're not good enough to make the top ten. The remaining songs would make a perfect top ten I think (and yes I'm on board with The Best of Both Worlds going after the other two I mentioned, although I gave it a high score if I remember well).
