Yeah, I knew you would be.I’m perfectly happy with how this is going.
I just audibly gasped seeing that elimination. What the hell went wrong??
A mess.
Not...everyone...gave it a 10?I just audibly gasped seeing that elimination. What the hell went wrong??
Girl you gave it an 8. Its lowest score came from @iheartpoptarts and that was only a 5. It just ended up ranking lower.I’ll take a guess that the mess is partially my fault as an anti of that album....
Well, just because they're singles doesn't mean fans don't love them. A lot of fans still love The Climb, Party In The U.S.A., 7 Things, See You Again and Who Owns My Heart. Then there's Nobody's Perfect. Which I love, but maybe shouldn't be in the top 6. If we had more voters, things might've turned out differently, but only 19 people wanted to and were able to vote. So we have to make do.Where do we start?
The top of this ranking is turning out to more of "GP's Favorite Miley Songs!" than a hardcore fan's ranking.
Ddddd I can definitely see how they don't fit your music tastes. But yes. That is a classic and one of Brit's best. The thing a lot of these ~controversial~ coming-of-age pop moments have in common is that they seem to throw everything I love musically out the window at the same time.
(But then you get your 'Overprotected' and all is right in the world again.)
Same to be honest. It's an obvious move, but never an old one. Can't Be Tamed deserved top 5 at least. A true cultural reset.
The *good girl goes bad bop* is one of my favourite pop culture staples.
You have no taste, but I still wish you had voted. I understand why you couldn't though.I guess I'm rooting for Who Owns My Heart now. 7 Things is terrible and I'd never thought it would fare this well on PJ. The Climb and the USA song aged like milk.
Cough rig the votes coughYou have no taste, but I still wish you had voted. I understand why you couldn't though.
On the bright side, you're rooting for my 11, so yay!
I would love to, but that's dishonest.Cough rig the votes cough
I totally get why Can't Be Tamed - a dance-ready electro-pop song about breaking out of societal norms, and doing what you want - is more-loved on a pop music forum full of queers then The Climb - a soft rock almost-country ballad about the journey that life can be - by some. I feel they both deserve top 5, but I'm an original stan so I am biased.'Can't Be Tamed' is fine. I know it's loved & was a hit... so I can understand it being in the top 10, I guess (even though I was always rather underwhelmed by it.) I will admit to feeling a bit shocked at the idea that it had a chance of winning. That opinion just isn't computing for me. I guess it's a decent declaration of independence anthem, but her best song (or even top 5)? I'm gonna need to think about that.
As far as 'The Climb', it isn't an absolute Miley fave of mine, but it feels way more classic than 'Can't Be Tamed' & top 5 worthy to me.
Hmmmm...well, I'm not saying it will, but I'd rather have 7 Things win then See You Again, if only because it already won, but I'd also take all of the other three Miley songs over both of them dddd.7 Things is perfect and a classic and I want it to win but I know it won’t so I’m still rooting for See You Again.
