I'm so upset that I've already lost a 10. I agree with @londonrain about the atrocious spelling but I love it. They sound wonderful on it and it's just really smooth. And despite the length this isn't one of the tracks that bloats out Eye Candy, although I would have probably put it at the end of the album.

@tylerc904 (4) "Sabrina is certainly feeling herself here but it's a drag." Noooo, it's not a drag!

@Sprockrooster (8) "Fantastic laid-back back ground music."

@berserkboi (4.9) "Yikes!"

@Iggypig (3) "Complete and utter snooze fest. I'm sure for a certain type of individual, this is a possible get down and dirty song. I'm not that individual. Skip. Oh and it goes on far too long." Oh it's not a get down and dirty song for me but I love it anyway.

@Filippa (6) "Nice vocals."

@londonrain (4) "I’m being restrained by not docking points for that appalling spelling." Yeah I hate the spelling but love the song.

To me Strawberrez just drags a bit. Again it’s inoffensive but I much prefer their garage stuff. I think back in the day I quickly decided which ones I liked from Eye Candy and which I didn’t, and the ones I didn’t hardly got played. So when I came to listen again and rate there were some tracks I was less familiar with, this being one.

Back to the extras section we go...

It's cute but I can see why it didn't make the album honestly. Also, is it just me but does it sound like it's trying to be What Would You Do? bu City High?

@tylerc904 (6.5) "Sounds more like something Blue would release (makes sense as it's a Stargate track actually)" It does!

@JMRGBY88 (6) "Inoffensive but I can see why it didn’t make the album."

@berserkboi (8.1) "The most pop sound they’ve ever done? Pretty impressive though I prefer the garage niche"

@Iggypig (5) "Better than Girl You'll Miss, but once again not good enough to replace anything on the Eye Candy album. At least it wasn't a cover of that Blazin Squad song though." Errrm, I think you mean the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony song...

@Untouchable Ace (9.5) "Why wasn't this widely released, it's so nice to here their different voices together."

Crossroads is a song that I’ve had on my PC for years but for some reason it never made it onto my iTunes so I hadn’t played it for years until getting ready for this rate. I actually find it pretty decent and miles better than Shoo Shoo Baby.

Staying in the extras section for this one...

So the first of 3 versions of Scandalous leaves us now. I like that they did something different with the song after being invited to perform at the 2003 MOBO Awards. Someone had the bright idea of creating a mash-up between the original song and Redman's 'Smash Sumthin' and included the man himself on stage with them. A studio version was also recorded and included on the repackaged version of the Eye Candy album. I think it works well as an opener because the intro to the song would sound weird coming after any other song.

@JMRGBY88 (5) "Oddly placed on the tracklisting."

@berserkboi (5.1) "Far cry from the original, yeah?" I think that was the point, yeah? :p

@Iggypig (8) "Obviously not as good as the original, but a great little remix. Redman does nothing for me and some of his bits sound too similar to his rap on Dirrty."

@londonrain (6) "What is this Carl Orff intro?! This seems unnecessarily extra given that the original song is so much better. Redman also feels very surplus to requirements. Even as a MOBO one-off the whole thing feels very extra." I don't mind it being extra and it was nice to see them perform a new version after hearing Scandalous A LOT that year.

@Sprockrooster (9) "Phew, that rap (not from Redman) is electric. A remix. Guess I loved a remix after all."

What a bop! I love the different elements that they've fused together, it's such a fun little number. The "freshly dipped in caramel tans with their back out" bit is my favourite.

@tylerc904 (7) "Bohemian Rhapsody WHEWMST? The tempo change is iconic." Nyaasss!

@berserkboi (5.2) "Who thought a garage ballad was a good idea?" Me, I did, and it is!

@Iggypig (7) "I imagine this will be a bit underestimated, which is a shame as it's a great little bop."

@Filippa (8) "Damn I forgot to call my man. Yeah. Love these lyrics."

@londonrain (5) "I see what they’re trying to do here. It’s... fine." I gotta check @londonrain make sure she's okay, all on this day... It's better than fine you beast.

Oops at me being the lowest scorer for both of those.

The original Scandalous is amazing, and the remix took most of the good stuff out of it. I love the intro which is used on the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack and was used in the demo of Whisper by Evanescence (fun fact!), but apart from that it’s not great.

I keep forgetting this is happening because I keep not being tagged correctly.
While I can appreciate what this looks like I promise you that I transposed your commentary when you originally sent it and forgot the 88. All of the following commentary was then missing it and I legit didn't notice until you just mentioned it. I'll fix it in future posts.

(I did tag you in the Shoo Shoo Baby elimination properly)
