Interesting.

I was just reading Billboard magazine for this week and noticed MTV added Material Girl on rotation. In the same week they are showing “sneak peek” of the videos for Crazy For You and Gambler.

In the context of having THREE videos hit MTV at around the same time it now makes sense why Crazy For You hits the US chart only 3 weeks after Material Girl. There isn’t a huge gap until Angel is released in the US either so the “oversaturated” reason for no Angel video makes more sense. Still would have been nice to have a video for the international market….

 

Looks like 1985 could be a good year for Madonna!
