This appears on the Confessions of a Shopaholic soundtrack. It was originally a Rihanna & Chris Brown but they were replaced with The Pussycat Dolls for the soundtrack. A big nn is that when the demo leaked, it actually charted, which the Dolls’ version failed to do. This did way better than I had anticipated, but it’s a fun little bop so I can see why.

Weslicious is not here for it, ‘Rihanna or Nicole, if it’s a crap song it doesn't matter who sings it.’ Slice of Life has a case of déjà vu, ‘Wait I think I heard this before already??? It's cute.’ Sprockrooster is glad to have discovered it, ‘This is the only track I did not know prior to this rate. And I have no idea where it comes from, but I am snatched nonetheless. What a rush!Filler @s Spotify again, ‘Outraged that this soundtrack isn't on Spotify any more, though honestly more for 'Unstoppable' by Kat DeLuna than this.’ BOP. Fun seems to be the right word to describe it, as both tylerc904, ‘A fun little bonus’ and PCDPG, ‘a fun song but not really special’, use it. Remorque shouts ha lungs out, ‘“I GOT A PROBLEM!!!” Well, we’ve all got our issues… And this is still better than a lot of the slog on Doll Domination though.’ Nn, tea. Lemonsqueezyy prefers this version, ‘way better than Ri’s version by a mile’, while evilsin shades the production, ‘Would've given this more were it not that demo-ish.’

Also nn at there being a Rihanna - Bad Girl feat. Iggy Azalea remix that has over 8 million views.

When I was consoling myself after listening to PCD's Bad Girl, this kept FUCKING popping up on my autoplay. To be honest, it sounded as legit as the official Bad Girl did, so that's a testament of the quality of that elimination.

Excellent. Much as the two solos that are left were my favourites, I wouldn't be too sad to part from them soon. And we need a bit of a Doll Domination/Her Name is Nicole culling too. The only want I wouldn't mind leaving from PCD at the moment is the Tainted Love cover, which has aged pretty badly.

Space (Introducing Melody Thornton)

Average: 6.655

Highest: 2 x 10 (@lemonsqueezyy, @Serg.), 3 x 9 (@HollyDunnSomething, @Slice of Life, @MollieSwift21)

Lowest: 3 x 4 (@GhettoPrincess, @haps, @Filler)

Dddd this is actually a very nice song. Melody doesn’t go all in, which actually serves her well, I like restrained Melody’s voice more than AMAs Melody’s voice. It’s very standard and sounds like most songs during that time but still, it’s nice.

Slice of Life serves extraness, which is only appropriate when talking about Melody, ‘THE BUTTONS KWEEN IS HERE Y'ALL. LOVE HA. She absolutely does the most here (the melisma is a little extra) but I can accept it because that's what makes Melody iconic.’ Sprockrooster exposes Melody’s hidden agenda, ‘I just cannot at Melody ruining some songs with her background screeching, but when she gets the spotlight those screeches are nowhere to be found. It is quite alright for a song.’ Epic Chocolat is disappointed, ‘I expected more from Melody since she's the only other Doll I knew vocally’, as is PCDPG, ‘I didn’t expect this song from Melody as her voice sounds quite childish.’ Nn, it does sound a bit weird. Pecans is a fan, ‘If Space is anything to go by, I feel like Melody could have had a nice little solo career herself if things had turned out differently for her. This is a strong little effort from Melody. Really good.’, as is HollyDunnSomething, ‘Yasss Melody getting to shine (and adlib all over) her own song.’ Ddd, the adlibs actually work really well here.

Filler, ya shady beast, ‘How about introducing an actual melody?’ The instrumental is pretty standard but it’s still very cute. Weslicious is also not a fan, ‘I like Melody’s voice so it’s great to hear her have a whole track. It’s a shame it’s not a better track.’ Remorque is cautiously bopping, ‘You’d think they would give the Kelly of the group a better song than this, yet she doesn’t sound all that good and the song is a letdown. Yet, I’m swaying in a Dilemma kinda way. Idk. Justice for second lead vocalists. *side eyes*’ Meanwhile, GhettoPrincess is not, ‘It’s such a shame she’s never really had a great solo moment.’ It was almost an 11 for lemonsqueezyy, ‘A top contender for my 11. Yes, it might be a typical urban break-up track, but the vocal exercise this is with all those ad-libs and runs deserves applause.’

And then we have evilsin, who has done the unthinkable.

Camila Cabello? Is that you?

I only have one response to you, hun.

Average: 6.672

She’s a cute girl. Originally intended for the Backstreet Boys and probably for Nicole’s album, this found its home on Doll Domination.

Let’s start with Sprockrooster, who gave it a 10, ‘I remember this being played during an epic Gossip Girl episode. Back then the song was part of 'Her Name Is Nicole' album (that got scrapped) and this one definitely deserved to be part of an album. Such a pure and direct emotional delivery. I am feeling the pain and combined with that gossip girl scene a true lifetime anthem.’ Filler wonders, ‘What kind of sick twisted motherfucker is going to the Pussycat Dolls for ballads’ HmmmT. This one is pretty standard but they do have some really wonderful ones. Reboot brings up an interesting point, ‘Didn’t the Backstreet Boys have something to do with this or is that just my mind trying to find connections to boy bands at every opportunity?’ As far as I can tell, they recorded it for Unbreakable but it never made the album. Their version did leak in 2007, though. GhettoPrincess prefers their version, ‘This is the first song which sounds like it was so obviously from the scrapped solo Nicole album. Also it’s a cover version of a Backstreet Boys song which sounds much better. Nicole’s version is too dull.PCDPG seconds the notion, ‘More suited on Nicole’s solo album and it screams album filler.’ Slice of Life unnie is happy is with it, ‘Not Stickwitu level of amazing but this will do.’ A high benchmark indeed. However it is enough for Epic Chocolat, ‘Beautiful, sad and hopeful.’ The sis evilsin finds it mediocre, ‘Very middle of the road. Totally see this being Ne-Yo's production’, as does the good sis Weslicious, ‘Most of my score is for the catchy 'I'm done, done done' part. Otherwise it's a pretty pedestrian ballad.’ Lemonsqueezyy has even stronger dislike for it, ‘In all honesty, I should’ve rated this higher because it can be enjoyable in very very very certain situations but it is just so asinine. I will say I have always liked Ne-Yo’s background vocals in the middle 8 (more than Ashley and Kimberly got on the entire album, but hey).’ Nn, the shade. I love y’all. We finish out with Remorque’s accurate comment, ‘Kinda ironic, n’est-ce pas?’ Oui, mon cheri.
