Tonight I'm goin’ out and ain't comin back,
You ain't gonna get no more pussycat

This one is probably one of my biggest (re)discoveries of the rate. I’ve been hooked to it. The song is more Missy than PCD but fuck does it go off and fuck at Missy snapping on this song. Yath at the Katy reference. I love Missy so much. I also love how the visuals throw it back to the burlesque days.

Slice of Life unnie seems surprised, ‘Wait tis really good wtf. Sultry, seductive, sensual bawp.’ I’m going to overlook Filler, ‘What I think is "how do you release an album with 27 fucking songs and nothing really worth releasing as a second single"?’ Nn, low-key true, though. The original edition is good but following When I Grow Up is a hard feat. Sprockrooster shades the song, ‘I totally forgot this was a single. Very surprised it was a single and not surprised it flopped.’ Okay but it went top 10 in the UK and in the US (on the bubbling under). Smasha! Lots of people praised Missy. For Pecans, she is the saving grace, ‘Missy Elliott saves this song. It's just a bit uninspired, really.’ GhettoPrincess also stans, ‘Always loved this and really wanted it to be a bigger hit. It’s nice to hear Melody on the chorus too. It’s very burlesque and more inspired by their old style. Missy Elliott’s rap is great also.’ Remorque is a bit underwhelmed, ‘I almost came when I heard Missy was working with the group, but all in all it was really underwhelming. And why pitch up Nicole’s voice to sound like Melody’s, eh? While Missy gets a bigger singing part than the others… When typing all this, I’m bopping theaux.’ Weslicious is not a fan of the song or the visuals, ‘I just never found this anything special. The song or the video.

It’s a 10 for lemonsqueezyy, ‘I don’t know what it is about that wail of a chorus always sets me off plotting revenge on my non-existent boyfriend who wasn’t compassionate enough to bring me lunch at work. It’s ace.’ The ultimate goal of any song. Evilsin educates us about the instrumental, ‘I like the little oriental flair with shamisen going on there in the background a lot. Missy is great as always.’ Nice to finally know what it’s called. Epic Chocolat likes the vocals and tylerc904 its atmosphere, ‘The chorus is underwhelming but I love Missy's bits, the verses, and the overall feel.’

Our 11 was short but sweet, take it away send photo unnie, ‘The production, the vocals, the video, the Missy. So sultry and perfect.

Indeed.

Well this one didnot deserve to be top 10: Hush Hush; Hush Hush (single version)

And the others will be ranked as followed:
#9: Stickwitu
#8: Beep
#7: Wait A Minute
#6: I Hate This Part

#4 + #5: Don’t Cha / Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)

#3: When I Grow Up
#2: Buttons
#1: I Don’t Need A Man

This is my personal top ten:

1. I Hate This Part
2. Buttons
3. Beep
4. Wait A Minute
5. When I Grow Up
6. Hush Hush; Hush Hush
7. Jai Ho!
8. Don't Cha
9. I Don't Need A Man
10. Stickwitu

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 'Whatcha Think About That' was done wrong. I didn't expect it to go much further, but I'd hoped for top 10. Slinky, underrated jam, and the Darkchild remix for the video pops awf.

I'd have taken it in over 'Jai Ho!' and certainly 'Hush Hush; Hush Hush'. The latter needs to vacate immediately. I fear y'all will have done 'Beep' wrong too. Mildly sinister bop.

Top 10 should go like this:
  1. Buttons
  2. When I Grow Up
  3. I Don’t Need A Man
  4. Stickwitu
  5. Don’t Cha
  6. Wait A Minute
  7. Hush Hush; Hush Hush
  8. Beep
  9. I Hate This Part
  10. Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)
