The Pussycat Dolls

To talk about something else: When do you think we’ll be getting React? This Wednesday or Friday? Or am I being too optimistic?

“When I Grow Up” is lowercase cute and undeniably pops off, but I felt mortally letdown following the juggernaut life-affirming bops that were “Don’t Cha”, “Buttons”, and “Beep”.

It's not even in its own album's top5.

I'm pretty sure a 2020 January release seems like the safest option. Video rollout as well.

The Xmas songs and Xmas Freeze will kill the songs chances of smashing.

I was hoping they were saving just to get the full release week this Friday but what you posted makes a lot more sense (unfortunately). A month and a half sounds about right for the popstar definition of the phrase "it's coming soon!"

Wait sorry - I literally had no idea there was an entirely different lineup of Nicole and 4 randos!? I’ve just seen the Dancing On Ice clip! How has this passed me by? Who are the other girls? Where are they now? Was there any official photos of that lineup? How did they announce it!? A reverse Keisha Buchanan experience !!!

Curious which songs you would place above it. It's more pop than their previous singles but it's still massive and clearly the best thing on the album.

When I Grow Up was the undeniable choice for lead, but it always fell kind of flat for me. It was a bit too silly and a bit too obvious. Whatcha Think About That, I Hate This Part (tour version) and Hush Hush; Hush Hush were much more well-made and interesting songs, plus this underrated standout:

Sure.

My top5 is probably

Painted Windows
In Person
Top of the World
I Hate This Part
Whatcha Think About That

And I also use these way more than When I Grow Up.

Bottle Pop
Takin' Over the World
Elevator
Jai Ho!

You're welcome!

I mean When I Grow Up was the clear lead single but the production has always been a lil messy for me.

*braces self for a heavy quotation in a girl group thread. I never learn*

I was offered Manchester upper tier in both the O2 and the LiveNation presales so I don’t think the upper tier has ever been off sale.

They were blocked off when I was searching for my tickets but that must’ve been a temporary thing then so my bad.

The upper tiers in Manchester and Newcastle are the only two now that have lots available.

The rest of the tour so far has sold really well so that’s awesome!

Where are all the Geordies at because the Newcastle date is the only one, out of all of them, that is slightly tragic. Nearly a third of the arena is unsold!!

See, I’d actually in some way amp up Nicole’s role by having her solo songs in the tour set list and any Greatest Hits (don’t tell me Killer Love couldn’t have been the 3rd PCD album), but then had the other girls record new BVs for the live performances of all their tracks so they got more involved.

If the other girls had been lipping to their own voices during the choruses of the performance on The X Factor, it would have made Nicole’s lipping less obvious.

It was after all the originals bar Nicole left in 2010 and Robin threw in four random girls to perform some corporate gigs before starting auditions after Nicole later left too. Names were Kherrington Payne, Vanessa Curry, Jamie Lee Ruiz, and Rino Nakasone-Razalan. Ruiz was a contestant for Girlicious and Rino was a Harajuku Girl.
