The Real Housewives of Atlanta (S16) [TBD]

After binge watching "English Teacher," I strongly feel that Jenn Lyon deserves an Emmy for her future of portrayal of Kim. If she doesn't win, it would be an injustice.

Did they investigate the sex tape scandal that allegedly got her fired or are they just... rolling with it? I can't imagine Kenya being ok with getting kicked off and then signing the same contract again nn

There’s no way this season isn’t going to be a dud. It’s taken them so long to make it, and despite cast changes and extended filming, it sounds like they still don’t have what they need.

It’s great news Kenya is back but it’s all a bit too little too late isn’t it? Plus, if the new girls are as much of a flop as suggested (by Drew, I know I know), then we could just end up with a similar Kenya from last season, bored and over it… which to be honest I wouldn’t blame her for considering how she’s been treated.

The show lost its plot when season 12 came around. The last good, but not great season was Eva's last.

The Drew Sidora years were truly the nail in the coffin.

It's just so funny to me that they refuse to let this show be great when most of the OGs are willing to come back (or are already back NN), even Nene. If you have Phaedra, Sheree, Kenya, Porsha, Kandi (with or without Nene considering how she ended things with Bravo) back then you'll see the ratings going up.

I find these decisions so fucking odd when this season you already have Phaedra and Porsha, then you proceed to fire Kandi and then fire Kenya for whatever reason to bring her back later. Just by doing all this mess, I hope they have nothing.

I don't know, I'm holding out hope.

We're going to get a season anchored by Porsha, who is a fantastic Housewife. I think Shamea will deliver, she never hasn't before, Drew is a wonderful punching bag, and it seems like the 3 newbies brought it - specifically Brit, who is clearly gunning for the new HBIC role and is probably going to be a great villain.

Then we have Kenya, one of the most polarising Housewives ever, seemingly fumbling the bag and making her biggest villain move to date - and now we're getting to watch it play out? Yes please. And then Phaedra tags in to provide shady scripted narration for the back half of the season? I think it'll be fun and chaotic.
