The Real Housewives of Atlanta (S16)

Yeah, that trailer felt new, and current, unlike the last couple of years.
If they can keep it short, fast and juicy (I'm taking 14 eps and 2 reunion eps), and grab our attention, they could be on to something.

Drew not even getting an intro scene until over half way through. A gag.
I'm with you here. I didn't find this to be the most exciting trailer but it definitely looks like they have enough material for a decent season if they edit it well and don't draw it out too long. I agree that it shouldn't have more than 14 episodes. Keep it tight and focus on building for season 17.

I think they had to put Porsha front & center in the trailer because we don't know the other women well enough yet and they're clearly trying not to hype Phaedra up too much until later in the season/likely the mid-season trailer. Outside of that, Kenya is only in a few episodes & Drew is... Drew. So it makes sense that the trailer is heavy on Porsha and then everyone else is sprinkled around her. I totally get people watching it and being underwhelmed, but I think that given everything, this type of trailer should have been expected.

Pretty underwhelming trailer but they've got a lot of obstacles to work against this season so, it was never gonna be a knockout preview. I don't think ATL can suffer three crap seasons in a row so I'm hoping this is a tight season that gets in and gets out and puts some faith back in the brand.

He/him
Someone please tell me they fired most of the production team that worked on the previous season cause even the trailer has such a distinctly fake, awful, Joseline's Cabaret-esque look. It's degrading to me (and the show's legacy!). Drewl hiring Dennis is hints of the Cookie Lady fiasco - but at least that season gave us the total disaster that was Yovanna
