I’ll admit, I’m still not impressed. I need to see a trailer with content from the season. That is a cute cast photo, but nothing special and same goes for that promo.

Think about how hype people were for Dubai based on their first promo. This is very meh so far.

Moving Legacy into an UGT so that when PHONY flops they don't have a competing show with the same name and they can bring the OGs back for the following season for a true reboot.

The lack of confidence in the new RHONY from Bravo seems so strange considering they junked the cast for their 'women making it in New York' show we've already seen in Blood, Sweat, and Heels.

Just glad we're actually getting something, even if we should never have been in this position to start with. A one off season isn't as good as an ongoing Legacy series but hopefully it smashes and opens the door to more with the true NYC cast.

Jill is her own worst enemy, I wish she hadn't soured things so publicly. This would have been so, so much better with her in it. The history between her and Ramona, Dorinda and Lu isn't even comparable to Kristen. Like, the only potential casting choices that'd have been less exciting would be Cindy or Jules. She feels so random and out of place amongst the real RHONY legends.

But I'm glad that it's at least confirmed we'll get the ladies back in some form.

Yeah, Jill is a definite loss for this. Just to see her interacting with Ramona, Kelly and LuAnn again would be brilliant. Kristen feels a bit random. I'd have preferred Heather if they were going for any of the Second Gen cast.

This is gonna be an unpopular opinion, but as much as I love them and always will, after they fumbled the bag with the Legacy show and got downsized to a Girls Trip, I feel less sorry for the OGS because they couldn’t get out of their own way. I’m going to give the new girls a shot because they weren’t responsible for everyone being fired and I’m not going to call them boring and “not the real New York” before I’ve seen an episode. The fandom (not these boards) online are legit insane. Like you didn’t know a Ramona from a LuAnn until the show aired.

Side note: Poor Kristen…why she agreed to do it without having Heather or Carole (who obviously wouldn’t do it) makes no sense. I think everyone is praying Jill shows up unannounced…but there is no way at this point. I’m sure it would be Andy’s wet dream for Bethenny to do it. To see the toxic fandom have a complete meltdown, and some of the ladies, I would send in Eboni.

I like Kristen too, she could hold her own but I do think Whitney SLC has rendered her…redundant. I’ll take any chance to have our moms on TV again, so I’m content with this! And if they test the waters and end up ressucitating Legacy then I’m all for it!
