Is RHOC the most exciting Housewives show in general? No. Is this a good OC season? Not really. Am I happy to have an edible and watch the Shannon and Noella variety show for 42 minutes every week? 100%.
As long as Bravo is happy to continue spending money to retool the show and keep it going, I’ll be happy to watch it. Things have to get really bad and uncomfortable (RHOC S15 got close) for me to actively want a Housewives show to be cancelled. I like to have 3-4 airing at once!

The season was too long for what they gave us...
If they'd chopped three (maybe four) episodes off, and followed it with a tight two part reunion, it would have just all flowed better.

Tamra's on the latest episode of Carlos King's podcast. I listened to the entire thing so here's what was said:
- Carlos hardcore stans Tamra. Credits her for changing Housewives and says he got into the show because her, says she single handedly changed the game. They’ve become great friends since recording the podcast and talk to each other all the time.
- She was cast on the show after a friend recommended that she reply to the casting notice, said she didn’t think she’d get it but they were really keen about her. The crew loved Tamra, she was a producers favourite. Shannon is apparently a nightmare to production.
- Said she felt betrayed when they fired her and also felt like a failure. She was devastated. Bravo wanted to go in a different direction and offered her three episodes to close out her story. Bravo thought that Tamra was “playing up to the cameras” too much in season 14(?) She noticed that a lot of her footage was cut from that season, such as the stuff related to her CBD company which made her question whether or not she was in trouble but producers assured her things were fine.. only to fire her a few months later.
- Carlos says the writing was on the wall for Vicki because the season 14 reunion was a disaster for her. She was never coming back from that. Carlos’ theory is that Tamra and Vicki was axed to make Kelly the star of the franchise as she’s reality TV gold.. only for this to back fire a season later.
- Carlos says that Bravo trying to push Heather as the “queen bee” this season was a horrible mistake. Tamra agrees. Carlos called her a FLOP lmao. Neither of them can understand how Heather and Gina are friends. They asked Tamra to film with them in NYC and she said no.
- Tamra and Andy had a conversation about her return as she has a tv opportunity that films in May and June, Andy asked if she would refer this to the production company so they’re aware of her schedule going forward.
- If she had a choice, Tamra would fire Emily and maybe Gina. She’d keep Noella as she’s good TV, they’ve also been DM’ing each other now. She thinks Noella has the potential to be a good cast member. Dragged Jeddi Mellenarmstrong. Carlos and Tamra both heard that Jen only appeared on the show to promote her business, she wasn’t interested in anything else. Both agree she needs to be fired.
- UGT filmed for 18 hours a day, non-stop drinking, lots of events, camera’s everywhere, it was very dramatic. Said that the release date has changed several times but apparently it comes end of June.

Tamra, without Vicki, is reality TV gold. Vicki became so toxic that Tamra's association with her made it so that fans thought they were one in the same. I'm 100% on board for bringing Tamra back.
Alexis and Gretchen could do really well with another outing, providing there's not too much Slade Slimey involved. Bravo would probably feel the same way. Meghan would be entertaining/intriguing because of the Biden connection and the OC being historically Republican.
Lizzie is a COVID-denying, anti-vax, QAnon troll who doesn't deserve a platform. She can rot.

This makes it sound very hopeful that they will attempt to bring her back as a housewife.
The thing is from Season 11 - Season 14 Kelly was the star of the show. Everyone was rooting for her. She was compelling tv. ( For me, she is the best ever RHOC casting. And would’ve been a lifer cast member if she didn’t reveal herself to be such a POS)

In regards to Tamra saying Emily should be fired, I have disagree with that. Out of everyone this year I’ve enjoyed Emily the most, and think it’s her breakthrough season. She is also much more enjoyable without Gina. It’s time for them to be parted, and out the two Emily is the stronger housewife. I always thought though that a feud was brewing between Tamra and Emily though, and I think it would end up being good TV.
How things are looking now I’d say this wouldn’t be far off.

Why do the girls never learn the audience never enjoys a Reunion Gang Up?
Shannon and Noella did really well in Part 1 of the Reunion, Heather sort of flitted with her Villain role, the other three, yawn.
They made a hugh mistake not bringing Nicole on for a part for some exctiement, especially so she could tell Emily she's a twenty minute gowl again.

The only growth we've seen in Gina for FIVE SEASONS is that her hair doesn't look like Archie Beador anymore.
If true, I just don’t understand how this passes through production. Did they have no one else? I don’t get it.
Ok. Just to make you all aware. There are talks of following RHONY footsteps with this. No official confirmation yet.

I actually haven’t heard a thing but I haven’t been asking or contacted by anyone really. I’ve been so checked out that beyond them booting Jen I’m clueless what they’ll actually intend to do.
So a completely new cast? Tamra will be seething. That would be her opportunity finally gone.
I’ve been traveling for work the past week so I just caught up on part 1 of the reunion and I thought it was decent overall but I don’t understand why Andy continues to let Emily speak over/for everyone else? He really is a god awful ‘moderator’ nn. Despite that, Noella and Shannon did well to hold their own against the gang up.
Also, I found it interesting that Heather pointed out it was her first time sitting next to Andy at the reunion. That kind of highlights how Bravo overplayed their hand by putting all of their eggs in her basket to come back and “save the show” when she is a good cast member but she’s really never been a ‘first seat’ kind of girl. You know who is a first seat girl? Tamra. She is the true driving force behind RHOC and deserves another shot over inanimate set pieces like Dr. Jaundice.
