I hate to say it but the producers made the right choice in dropping Candiace and keeping Gizelle. Gizelle is surprisingly rising to the challenge to keep it pumping.

I haven't enjoyed the show this much in years! We had drama with the Karen and Mia stuff, but there was balance and levity to the scenes. We also got some much needed fresh blood with Stacie, Vivien, Jassi and Jacqueline. I'm not a Robyn or Candiace hater, but sometimes you need people to go to freshen up the vibes.
I think it's fair to say Potomac is back and I'm actually here for it! I'm really shocked.

Her son looks so much like Gordon that this whole story just feels cruel.

The episode was great minus Mia's storyline. It's made me sour to her. Kids should not be used as a storyline in any reality show. The paternity questions should be private. The poor boy could have other kids saying stuff to him in school and that's not fair.

I hate to say it because Gizelle felt insufferable last season but she is in the right over this event, maybe kicking them out is a little extreme but they all should have done what Vivien did - they were invited with plenty of notice to her event and should never have accepted Karen’s invitation as well.
The only exceptions for me are Wendy and Keiarna because they clearly aren’t friends with Gizelle at the moment.
I’m so curious how this all went down behind the scenes, it’s weird that production seemed to have organised the van but didn’t have cameras at Karens event.

Karen! Great television, but it’s wild that she has even bigger delusions of grandeur following her “citations”. She seems to be really feeling herself. I think Gizele is 100% in the right and I imagine she’s just as pissed at production as she is at Karen for taking the focus away from her cause. Speaking of Gizele, what a return to form! I love to see it and I’m loving this season.

This was 100% staged (there’s no way Mia would choose to go to Karen’s) but let’s play along- if this had been reversed and Karen had been aggrieved the way Gizelle had, we wouldn’t hear the end of it for SEASONS. I love Karen but she’s insufferable at times.
I laughed out loud at the boldness of Ashley running after the girls with the QR code- that took some nerve that I didn’t think even Ashley was capable of and made me actually like her.
Something must definitely change soon as the girls seem pretty amicable with Gizelle from previews of the season (unless she just ingratiates herself with them), she’s seen leading a prayer for Karen who has said in interviews that they stay in a good place, and Mia seems to do a 180 and comes for the Grand Dame.

It'll actually be a cold day in hell before I side with Gizzy (especially when said side includes Ashley) over Karen on any matter, sorry about it.

I feel like the show is becoming less toxic without Candiace around, SORRY DRIVE BACK CHANTEUSE.
It's lighter now and things are moving along quick with a lot of fun moments thrown in, like that sit down lunch Neck had with Zen Wen.
I'm liking this season so far.
